 Cordova walked through the woods looking around at the plants around him. He loved walking around and watching the trees blow in the wind and the leaves blowing aound on the ground he loved the way smells just drifted by in the wind and the different paths of scent he smelled on the ground. He had met a few other wolves but he kinda wanted to know more...he wanted someplace to be. A pack where he could learn better things and could have more interactions with other wolves more often. He was shy and didn't talk much but he wanted to know alot of stuff and was interested in learning some of the pack rules and goings. He didn't really know much about interacting with other wolves...and he didn't want to come off as stupid or rude towards any of the wolves he met. He looked up into the sky as he heard a bird cry out. It was a crow and it looked like it was looking for someone. But that wasn't anything concerning him so he just ignored it and kept walking wondering who he might meet today.

 Velvela creeped silently forward, her ears and nose twitching and she tried to be as quiet as possible. The mouse in front of her was completely harmless, and only a tiny morsel of food, but it was a morsel that she rather needed. She paused as it stopped and looked about and when it finally went back to eating she eased forward again, her muscles glad to be out of their earlier position. She was close enough now that she risked it, springing forward. The mouse dodged her fangs but she was able to smack it with a paw. A minute later she looked up, tummy not rumbling quite so much now, to see a crow fly overhead. Shrugging she moved on, anxious to find something else to do.

Cordova heard a russtle in the bushes and turned to see what was making the noise. But he smelled wolf. His ears perked up and he got excited. A new friend maybe? He waited and looked at the bush, his head cocked to the side and his tail swishing a little bit. He wondered if they were going to be nice or if they were going to be aggressive towards him. He braised himself just encase the wolf tryed to attack him or something. He sniffed the air again and wondered what he would say, or what they could play if the other wolf was nice.

Velvela walked through the bushes and where she looked about. Her eyes fell on a wolf pup and she froze. She shrank back a bit into the bushes a little. It appeared to be on guard and she certainly wasn't about to drop hers.
"Hello there," she spoke quietly so the other pup wouldn't think she was being aggressive, the last thing she needed was a misunderstanding.

Cordova looked at the other wolf. She was female and seemed to be nice, and not wanting to fight. "Hello." He said softly. He relaxed a little bit and leaned his head towards her sniffing at her more. She smelled neat, like a different part of the woods. And like mouse. She must have been hunting just a bit ago which is why he had heard her. "What brings you out here?" he asked wondering if they could be friends.

Velvela let her wolf instincts take over and she sniffed at the boy as he got a little closer. He was different...they were always different...She shook the thought from her mind. "I'm just passing through I guess, and hunting. And you? Are you from this area?" She questioned him, trying to draw the focus away from herself.

Cordova shook his head. "No i'm not. I just wandered here looking for someone to play with or maybe a pack to take me in and teach me. Oh my name is Cordova, whats yours?" He asked smiling a little. He wagged his tail slowly but it was still in a down position so he didn't come off like he was trying to be intimidating or anything. "Do you want to play with me? We could play chase or hunter?" He said, his smile getting a little bigger and more more friendly.

Vel felt herself relaxing around Cordova, his friendliness was refreshing. "I'm Velvela, and I'd love to play with you." Her tail drooped a bit and she glanced down. "But I really don't know how to play any games...would you mind teaching me?"

Cordova frowned a little. "I don't know very many games either...um theres this chase one that i saw some other pups playing the other day. They chased eachother and touched them with a paw or nose and said 'tag' and then the one they taged chased the other one...Does that sound fun?" He asked as he looked at her with a friendly smile still wondering how he was actually supposed to act with other wolves.

Velvela gave Cordova her nicest, most innocent grin. "Tag!" She yelled suddenly, tapping him and running off in the other direction. She did enjoy the element of surprise when it wasn't used on her.

Cordova was startled for a second then looked around to see where she was and then took off after her. He ran around a tree and chased her till he saw her again. He ran at her and jumped towards her trying to tag her back.

Vel felt the boy gaining on her as she rounded the tree and she kept running flat out, she glanced over her shoulder to try to find him to see him leap at her. She tried to get out of the way but she felt him tag her. She Wheeled around as fast as she could to tag him back, bounding towards him.

Cordova dashed around a tree and ran up a fallen log and jumped off the other side. He looked back to see her really close behind but he still had some space, for now. He dashed around another tree then under a root where he almost got stuck. He ran down a path knowing she had caught up to him in that small amout of time he had been almost stuck.
