So yeah. Here it is folks. The name's Wolfes Poetic, y'can call me Wolfie, Wolfes, or whatevers. On to the point of this whole deal. I am a major fan of Christian Music, Christian Rock in particular, and am always looking for new bands, new stuff, etc. So I'm dredging up interest for a sub-forum for this guild for music fans. The idea behind this whole thing is we'll have one or two people in charge of the whole sub-forum (from the outset at least), and each individual, single band-dedicated thread run by members, adding thier own personal touches to each thread, with some basic requirements (such as show dates/locations/venues, Pictures, links to music samples/lyrics, upcoming releases, etc.) This would allow for more in-depth discussion for specifics bands, and it'd give people a better showcase of the massive variety of Christian Music. Obviously, there is going to be a strict format for new threads, with people in place to check out every band to make sure it is wholesome and Christian and whatnot. So yeah. Express your interest, and if we get a big enough following, hopefully Lithanus will set things up. If this thing gets a big enough following, I might ask for a tiny collection to donate to the WfC Guild Charity. So yeah. Express to me what your questions and concerns might or might not be, and We'll hammer out the problems...!!

Just so you know if you all would want this sub-forum, we have enough in the account to make it, and a collection would not be necessary. But if you want to donate, we do have a charity and a guild mule to take your donation. 3nodding
This sounds like this could be a great idea if you really love music. I know there are a few of us that are certainly passionate for the music they listen to. I'll go ahead and allow you all to talk about any bands, but if there are some that go against Christ's teachings then it will be more of a discussion thread. So let us know about your passion for music here.

Is this a voting or a survey?
Anyways yeah I voted for the sounds cool one. If enough people are interested in the idea then it should happen dispite the possible few who don't since they dun need to participate. Though I dun listen to christian music I say go for it.

It's just a survey. By the by, I feel inclined to ask you what style of music you listen to, because I can probably point you towards something in the Christian realm you might like-unless of course you're not Christian, in which case I offer you my prayers. I make it something of a point to have at least one or two artists from a variety of genres to point people in a new direction.
That's not to say, however, that I'm against secular music. I just haven't found any artists that in the secular realm that I enjoy as much as I enjoy my Christian bands...
C'MON PEOPLE!! DON'T JUST VOTE! TELL US WHY YOU DO/DON'T WANT THIS MUSIC SUB-FORUM TO HAPPEN!!

C'MON PEOPLE!! DON'T JUST VOTE! TELL US WHY YOU DO/DON'T WANT THIS MUSIC SUB-FORUM TO HAPPEN!! Well you got the latter right, I consider myself a deist if I have to choose a belief. But none the less I also know the flexible variety of music christian bands have taken, some I do believe to sound awsome, I just prefer some classic rock more than any other form of music, though I try to keep myself open to anything.

Aah. Never really got into the whole classic rock genre. Dunno why. Maybe if I sat down and really listened to it, but such an opportunity has yet to present itself.
