Well I hope you'll be safe and hopefully enjoy the experience. Once you join the military they own your soul. Got a few family members who are or have recently been in the military.

I don't ship out for boot for a while, but so far I've done really well. Not sure how it is for the other branches, but we have kind of a mini-boot camp before real boot camp called the Delayed Entry Program. Basically teaches you the stuff you've got to know beforehand so you don't get screamed at when you actually go to the real thing.
It's been something that I'm really good at. I know the marching maneuvers pretty well, and haven't made a single mistake yet, which is amazing because I sucked at squaredancing and this is basically the same thing. It's weird, I actually kind of like calling people sir, and being told when to go to the bathroom. This might be one of those things I'm good at naturally.
Ha. I'm a natural seaman.
