WSX is mainly a Hardcore show. A few matches per show are contested under No-rules, but some matches will actually be under normal match rules.
WSX Special event - Hardcore Lord tournament:
The Hardcore Lord tournament is a 12-person tournament. Qualifying matches are made, but some are added to the tournament automatically for their skill and history in hardcore matches. The first rounds are 6 matches. The three winners from each bracket go into a Triple Threat match. The two winners from that go into a Pit of Hell match to decide who the true Hardcore Lord is. The winner also gets a shot at any title they want on WSX!
First Round - (6) Hardcore Singles match
Second Round - (2) Triple Threat Barb-wire match
Third round - Pit of Hell match

FIP is mainly a Non-hardcore show, but has hardcore-type matches every now and then. FIP is for those that aren't huge fans of hardcore, and perfer taking their opponents down without weapons.
FIP Special Event - Cage of Pain!:
The Cage of Pain is a match that happens only once a year. To get into the match, 12 wrestlers go into qualifying matches, but only 6 move onto the match. The winner will be crowned the Cage of Pain Champion, and have a shot at any title they want on FIP!
The Cage of Pain is a 6 man match. The cage's rim is wrapped in barb-wire, and weapons are scattered around the ring. The weapons are: Steel chain, chair, table, ladder, and baseball bat. The ladder can be used to try to jump over the top, but the match doesn't stop there. In outside is pretty much a cage outside of the cage. To win, you must climb over this cage. Just imagine a Steel Punjabi Prision match with a much bigger outside cage. Because this cage surrounds the whole outside, right by the barricade!
This may seem abit extreme for a non-hardcore show. But that's why it only happens once a year!
Cross brand event - The King of the Show
The Impact Cup is a 20 man Battle Royal. The winner is given the title of King of the Show, and given a shot at any title on either brands!
