Okay so I purchased my first doll from Volks and I am impatiently waiting for her to arrive, but i still need some help. I got a finished product from The Lost Angels Story (A cheaper on since she's my first) It's Yuri Date doll...but what size clothes fit those? I can't seem to find the size on the site....maybe I am over looking it. I love the outfit she's in already but would like to get some more. can anyone help me? again? Does Dollfie Dream fit maybe? or just SD? I'm not sure. Please and Thank you!

lost angels = dollfie/dollfie plus/barbie/jenny/licca/blythe size. :> generally anything 1/6th. as volks said themselves on her page: Quote: Body: 25cm Finished Dollfie EB Beauty MIDI-A Light Skin so some things might be a bit loose/long on her, but not too much to matter. their WTG line should fit nicely. (although.. limited lost angels aren't exactly like limited SDs, where you can change the default outfit/face/whatever around and not damage the resale value. gonk if you want yours to have the same/more value later on, the best bet is to just keep it displayed in a safe place.)

Not sure if you're aware, but the doll will actually be closer to Barbie in size. sweatdrop About half the size of an SD or a Dollfie Dream, give or take.
She'll also be vinyl, not resin, and made of hinged joints, rather than strung.

Actually, what you are getting IS a Dollfie. xd Dollfies are the 27cm hinged vinyl dolls from Volks -- I have one. Barbie clothes fit them passably, and you can get them pretty cheaply in bulk if you scour consignment shops and things (I'm not so lucky -- I have a male, and Ken's pants are too large for him).
I believe Bratz clothes also fit, but I think they'd be short on the arms/legs.
Anyway--
Sticking to Volks terms, they also offer YoSD (tiny-sized), which I believe are only available through Dolpa? Not sure on that, I never got into Yo. sweatdrop
Then there's MSD, or Mini Super Dollfie, which is the 45cm height range. These are the ones that go for around $300ish on the Volks site.
Next up is SD, or Super Dollfie. These are 60cm tall, and are the really expensive ones from Volks. whee
Since you mentioned conversion, I'm going to bet you're in the US. >_>; Anyway, there are 2.54 centimeters to an inch. You'll probably memorize that very quickly, as you'll be using it a lot. xd So just take the given measurements and divide by 2.54 to figure out what it'd be in inches.

You can get an actual Super Dollfie (or little dollfie) from www.volksusa.com. I believe denverdollemporium sells some. But that is only good if you are in USA or Canada I suppose. But there are many places to buy BJDs. You an order many from overseas- that is what I did with both of mine. Do you know the name of one that you like?

Where can I get one? sweatdrop There is Volks like Llynda said but they are one of the more expensive brands. (And pretty heavy. I've compared my SD13 Mimi to my friend's taller DoT Shall and mine is *definitely* heavier.) There are many many companies out there. Any company with a english site, you can order (easily) from. If you join Den of Angels you'll be able to see owner photos (more "real" photos than default company photos) and it has links to a majority of the existing doll companies. There's also this list right here in the guild~ Best of luck! (^^)

I have to say something here. USA wise I love love love www.junkyspot.com for all things BJD. They are amazing to deal with and ship quite quickly I might add. I've gotten a bunch of stuff from there. It was always in good shape and if it wasn't I got back the same item in good shape.
Let's see I've ordered: Wig and Eyes for my DoD DoC A Dollzone carrying case for the 70 cm dolls. Which fits two MSD nicely. A Dollzone Assassin Hid with default outfit A Dollzone Wing with wig, shoes, and an outfit.
The only thing I ever got damaged from them was th boots I ordered for Wing. I went onto DoA and pmed the owner of junkyspot. They sent me back a new pair after I sent mine. Normally shipping from them takes a week to get here. I'm in Maryland and they are in California. So it's great. They have a few companies dolls so you have a choice in what you want. smile
