I love her. Many people are saying that she is crazy pero for me, she's like Pilosopo Tasyo(a character in Rizal's Noli Me Tangere novel). Pilosopo Tasyo is wise pero tingin ng tao, baliw siya kasi yung mga sinasabi nya, masyadong advance. Hindi ma-grasps nung mga tao sa panahon nya kasi panay sila illiterate. Parang ganun din si Mrs. Santiago. Feeling ko misunderstood lang siya. I get good opinions from her kapag wala siyang topak at maganda din yung iba nyang mga thoughts. As a matter of fact, fave quote ko yung sinabi nyang "Ang taong hindi nagpapalit ng isip ay taong hindi nag-iisip." cool
Yun nga lang, minsan krung krung siya talaga. Medyo bias at feeling ko corrupt din sia.

pandora002 ...feeling ko corrupt din sia. I am getting tired of that phrase... Why can't you lend out a little more trust on your own comrades? This is why our race don't go anywhere anymore... we ourselves or our own neighbors, that speak the same language with us, becomes our own greatest enemies. We, the Filipinos, always pull each other down. Eliminate Crab Mentality

yeah...I see it as a common theme among Filipinos and Philippine politics.
Too many political parties that actually play a free-for-all in the Congress...or some party always try to destab the government just to get the position. This is why I wanted like some war to happen...to wake up those people who always distrust each other. To band together againsta a common enemy.

Anyhoo, Miriam Santiago...hmm..what can i say about her...hmm....on top of my head:
1. Im going to jump out of a plane..yadda yadda yadda...I lied! AHAHAHA! xd
2. Using the popularity of her son's death in one of her political commercials sweatdrop
3. Her claim as Harvard alumna has yet to be proven (on the other hand, someone tried to check with Harvard and they cant seem to find any records of her) domokun
I have to agree though that she HAD great potential then. Emphasis on the past. My mom and I idolized her during her presidential campaign. But ever since she lost and claimed that she was cheated, everything started going downhill blaugh
