So I have two massive gigs lined up in the summer;
Journey
and of course
Whitesnake with Def Leppard.
All of which... awesome bands, I've only seen Whitesnake before, think what you will about them, but all 3 are awesome bands and if you don't like them, you will burn in hell... the bad kind... not the kind with fire breathing whores that could teach me a trick or two.

I taught those fire-breathing whores everything they know.
First up would be Wave Gotik Treffen in Leipzig, Germany. At that I will be seeing:
Greyhound
London After Midnight
Psychic TV
Necassary Response
And a load more than I can list here.
Then Arvika Festival in Sweden, where I will see:

Suicide Commando

Both of you must take me with you....I doubt I'll be able to go to anything this summer, but I will try. Every concert that I try to go to ends up being cancelled a week after I bought the tickets, sold out once I save up the money, or some disaster comes up that forces me not to go. I miss out on so much due to my terrible luck. Well no, it isn't terrible. It's saved me from a lot of s**t... sweatdrop

Wrath_Lord, are you in the UK? If so, you might consider Whitby Gothic Weekend in April. Its reasonably cheap and you'll get to see loads of Goth, darkwave, death rock and industrial bands.

xStephanx Wrath_Lord, are you in the UK? If so, you might consider Whitby Gothic Weekend in April. Its reasonably cheap and you'll get to see loads of Goth, darkwave, death rock and industrial bands. No, but some cousins of mine are....but I think they're in Denmark on vacation now.... stare Whitby Goth Weekend sounds like something I'd enjoy though, and it's around my birthday. I'd like to go someday. sweatdrop

I'd like to go someday. sweatdrop Its twice a year, once in April around the Equinox, then again at the end of October around Halloween. Otherwise its a busy Gothic summer - Arvika in Sweden, Mera Luna in German, and Infest in the UK. To name a few.

I'm contemplating going to Taste of Chaos for Mucc and D'espairsRay on the 26th, but then again the rest of the line-up will be crap after crap after endless crap.... I'll have to think really hard on it.
EDIT: That, and I don't want to get kicked in the face again.
Though I'm planning to see The Cure this June in Ft. Lauderdale.
Other than that I really don't have any other plans.

The only thing I know I'm going to try for this summer is Ozzfest, provided I can get a ride out to Pittsburgh, Cleveland, or Buffalo. My town's goth scene consists of only one small local band whose synth player is a friend of mine from college. They don't even have a cd out yet, just a very small local group that plays in random bars on occasion.

I'm seeing both Henry Rollins shows this month, I'm seeing Mayhem in May and Children of Bodom in June.
I saw Rodrigo y Gabriela on Thursday night and I saw Immortal two weeks ago. And Iron Maiden, of course. xd
This is a good ******** year for gigs. Long Live 08!

Next week I get to see The Birthday Massacre with Mindless Self Indulgence. Oh, boy xD That'll be hilarious. Then I'll be seeing London After Midnight.
And in late July, there's gonna be a vampire prom party Voltaire will be at ;D Should be interesting.
