A friend of mine and I are working on an Avatar Convention. It'll be in New-Brunswick, Canada, so any Maritime Avatar fans, or those in North-east United States, should be able to get to it easily enough. Others are free to check it out, too, of course, but it might be a bit harder to get to. It's called Eastern Avatards, and we have a guild for it here, which is free to join: http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/index.php?gmode=index&guild_id=60617

We actually have quite a few ideas for it. (Though we're still working on building the guild) We also met a lot of Avatar fans at Animaritime, so we know there's a fanbase in the area.
It'll probably start off very small, like most conventions, but if there's interest, then it'll grow.

We don't have the resources to hold it at a more central location. Right now all the organizers are living in New-Brunswick, so it's the best option for us.

I'm in connecticut, so it might take a couple of hours to get there. XP My friend's taking me to anime boston though. Too bad there isn't going to be an avatar panel there. T.T

That's awesome! ^_^. You should post pictures in the cosplay thread! ^_^.
If I remember my geography right, Boston's not too far from New-Brunswick, right? I don't suppose you mentioned us?

Considering it's a four/five hour trip from Mass to Maine, and then about two from the middle of Maine to the border. just short day trip really.... :3

But if i find anyone dedicated enough to drive that far with me to avatar, then i'll try and check it out!
