Fanplusfriend coat question

My first topic here! lol

I just posted to ask, has anyone here ever ordered anything from fanplusfriend? My parents are thinking of getting me a coat from there for my birthday and i was wondering about the quality of it. Its made of wool, and i dont really know anything about wool, or the quality of that material or anything.

The reviews for Fanplusfriend's coats are all pretty positive, actually. Just make sure that you give them all of your measurements so that they can sew it to fit. Also, make sure you're wearing whatever you would be under the coat when you take the measurements so that you don't end up having it made too tightly.

If you can, ask them about having the coat made in their cashmere blend instead of straight wool. It's a bit softer and warmer, but should be the same price as the standard wool materials.

I just got a some bloomers from them. The design is quite nice, there are a few places that I'm going to sew over again because the stitching doesn't seem secure. But considering the price and the fact that its hard to find patterns for the stuff they make, I think it is a good deal.

I've heard from various customers that F+F is a 'hit or miss' kind of shop. I've looked through their reviews though, and saw that it's mostly positive. Some complaints says that it has a 'sweat shop smell' and that the quality was horrible were sprinkled here and there though.
