Bruce and Naota's whole background story.
Naota's parents met in college. His father is Japanese and his mother was an American. They fell madly in love and his father decided to settle down in America.
Blah, blah, blah. Naota was born and Naota met Bruce in pre-school. They became close friends and hug out all the time.
When Naota was 7 his grandfather died and his father had to go to Japan to run the company. Naota moved away.
Naota wound up at all the best schools in Japan where he was very popular.
Then 10 years later Naota's mom divorced his father and she came back to her home town to live with her sister. Naota is forced to share a room with his bully cousin.
Naota and Bruce meet in the cafeteria. Bruce knows who Naota is right away, but it takes Naota a few minutes to recognize Bruce.
Now, Bruce isn't very exciting. His family is perfect. His mom is a homemaker and his father owns a grocery store. He's very shy and gets picked on all the time by Naota's cousin.
Bruce enjoys reading sappy romance novels and lurking on internet forums.
Naota loves music (mostly J-rock) and loves Japanese fashion. When he isn't looking through the newest fashion magazines he is playing video games. He hates living in America and misses the hustle and bustle of Tokyo.

EEE! LOL @ Bruce reading romance novels and lurking on the internet. And they're both flamingly gay? biggrin Maybe? Maybeeee? *gigglesnort* Okay I'm really tired so I'm just going to go before I be more goofy.

Bruce is flamingly gay. Naota is gay, but doesn't flaunt it. ^_^

In the story I'm working on Naota's cousin, Clark (or Cletus as Naota calls him. Naota thinks his cousin is a hick who is inbred.) thinks Naota is gay because of his hair.
