I just got Windows Vista and it was way better than what I had before, I got WoW installed and all day, it says "Update could not be applied." I click "Repair" on the bottom and then I click "Check and Repair" This takes about 10-20 minutes then it will succesfully "Repair" it and then I try to log on and downloads 2.3 again.

I had the same problem when I got this new laptop. :3 It's easy to fix though. Right-click on your WoW.exe icon, wherever it may be, & click "Run as Administrator". Ta-da.
Also, if you go into your security settings & disable your User Account Control, you won't have this issue again.
Also, if you're using Firefox, I'd recommend downloading & using NoScript. It will protect you from keyloggers and other malicious scripts that can jeopardize your WoW account.
