reiciel just joined the guild so i'm checking out the threads... felt compelled to update this one first. - hyde is the model basis for many of kaori yuki's manga characters, she's said so herself in her fan notes, particularly angel sanctuary. this includes count cain, setsuna, and rosiel. she never named laruku specifically, but apparently many of her fans noticed the resemblance between her characters and certain laruku members (rumour was that lucifer was also based off of sakura, i think), and they sent her one of their cds - possibly tierra? or heavenly? - because they'd guessed she was a laruku fan. she said in her fan notes that she was happily surprised by the present, knowing that her fans had figured out her 'secret'. - kagen no tsuki was also (one of?) tetsu's favourite manga. he mentioned it in an interview before i believe, which is how i heard of kagen no tsuki before hyde starred in the movie. tetsu was probably very impressed when hyde got asked to be part of it. i have to say though, hyde's acting in it is aaaaabsolutely atrocious, but when he's just there, sitting playing his guitar or just standing with this angsty look on his face, he's great. he's a good cameo guy, but no actor. another manga comparison: all 4 are like, 4 eras of hyde's image. from hanakimi ~  i'm too lazy to search through my pics, but i'm sure if you've seen enough hyde pics, you'd recognize the looks.
Actually, I didn't know that Kaori Yuki based her characters off of Hyde's different characters, but actually...
Hana Kimi's artist, Hisaya Nakajo is actually a fan of Hyde. In like volume 14 or so of her Hana Kimi series, she actually draws a chibified version of Hyde in one of the "Free Talk" sections. I was so overwhelmed when I discovered this.
