Illuminescence Has asexuality been mentioned in textbooks before, or is this something new? I have never seen it eek We are learnig that humans are very, very sexual (yes, that's what the teacher says... VERY VERY). I wanted to say "And if you aren't?" but... I didn't, and if you knew my teacher you'd understand. She is always saying that everybody wants sex blahblah... and it's always with the opposite gender... Some things she says makes me wanna scream but I don't.

I'm starting high school...yup, Freshman. Except I'm a woman. Whatever...I hate the male dominated culture...anyways. I'm at an all girls Catholic high school started by the Sisters of Mercy. Very Catholic...very closed-minded. I picked it though, it's much better than some of the alternatives...plus, I got a scholarship and do work-study, so it's not all that costly. First period: Beginner Computer Applications, nothing new here I didn't already know, so I get on Gaia! Second: Art, my second favorite class; I love to draw! Third: Biology. Fourth: Honors English I. Fifth-A: Work-Study, I'm a librarian. More Gaia time! Fifth-B: Lunch. Sixth: Theology I. Always gets me pissed. We're learning about sexuality and its importance. rolleyes Seventh: Honors Algebra I. Eighth: Stagecraft. Absolute favorite class. END.

There has been some recent controversy regarding religion and asexuality. Sexuality, God's gift, has been supposedly rejected by asexuals. But again, this is just controversy.
