'There are all sorts of ponies in this room, so please heed the warnings on previous doors.
All the ponies in this room are up for trade, so feel free to play with them and see if you find one you like.'

Shady Vendor: Without much warning, a rather... Ahem... Shady... Figure entered the circle of trainers, his eyes locking onto the babies present.
With a wink to the pony accompanying him, the figure made its way towards the trainer with the little yellow pony.
Kasumi:
Kasumi suddenly felt the hair on the back of her neck stand on end. Something wasn't right. She carefully clutched her baby pony to her chest and scrambled over to Appeal. She lowered her voice as she spoke. "Do you feel anything... ominous? I mean, other than you."
Appeal: Appeal vaguely looked up to Sailor Kasumi and munched on some more rice balls and after half swallowing she said while shaking her head, "No no, why, food," and in a way without a words, bye.
Yaneci: Yaneci watches Zar and another pony leave. She's a bit nervous about it and makes her way to Kasumi. "Will they be ok off on their own?" Yaneci motions toward the receding ponies.
Kasumi: Kasumi was about to shake Appeal and scream at her to think about something other than food, when Yaneci walked up. "Oh-- what?" She looked over and saw Deimos disappearing into the forest with what she assumed was Yaneci's pony. "Oh sure, they're fine. Deimos knows his way around the safari fairly well and I trust him not to go too far."
Shady: The figure slowed before stopping his forward motion towards the purple haired trainer, "Woah there." he lifted his hands in the air as if displaying his submission.
His pony continued to walk and received a quick, gentle boot to the rump, "Hold it, boy." He had a rough voice and a bit of an accent, but not one that could be placed with just the few words he had spoken.
"Hey thare, I am... Well that ain't important." he chuckled, "I sell dese stones that'll keep your pony from evolvin'." He lowered one hand to his pocket and pulled it out with three stones in his palm. "I thought this might interest a couple of ya, but... If not I'll just leave."
Kasumi: Kasumi eyed the man warily. "I'm interested, but how can I trust a man who won't even tell me his name?"
Tsuki: Tsuki perked her head up at the sight of these stones. "We could use one of those, guys!" She nudge at Rufus, who ahe still held to to keep him from running off again.
Appeal: Appeal, with her mouth finally empty, offered Sailor Kasumi a few words, "You should only ask someone's name after giving your own," and then she took another bite and was back in la-la-food-land.
Yaneci: Yaneci nods, only just now seeing the new man. She gives him a quick look up and down, but stays silent.
Rae: Rae looked up, over to Kasumi, only to see a guy who didn't look... right, speaking to her. She got up and moved closer to Kasumi, Kindle trailing behind her, his flames ablaze. He growled lightly when they got closer, clearly remembering the night before. Rae gave him a look, and he stopped, though he kept his glare in place. "Kasumi, what's going on?" Rae asked, turning back to her.
Shady: "I don't think ya need my name to know my goods are good." he smirked and winked at the girl.
Kasumi: Kasumi glared at Appeal. "Thank you Miss Manners."
She noticed Rae and Kindle approaching, and momentarily turned to them. "Oh, you know, more people trying to sell me stuff." She pointed to the vendor in front of her. "Says he has stones that can stop your ponies from evolving."
Kasumi turned back to the vendor and raised her eyebrows. "Is that so? Well, how much are these stones going to run me?"
Shady: The figured pondered this for a moment before clearing his throat, "For a pretty little thing like you I think 0.080¤ for one sounds good."
He watched with amusement as his pony boldly walked up to girl and stared at her through its thick mane.
Yaneci: Yaneci glares at the man, not liking him, though she couldn't really say why. "Excuse me for butting in but.. How do we know those stones will do what you say?"
Rae: Kindle snorted at Kasumi's answer, his flames blazing bigger, and Rae looked down to him and then at the man. "Yeah, I agree with Kindle. After last night..." she trailed off, and shrugged, hoping she'd explained enough.
When the man spoke again, she raised an eyebrow, before speaking again to Kasumi. "Yeah, how can you resist buying from him?" she said, rolling her eyes. She felt a little tug on her shirt, and she looked down expecting to see Kindle--yet it was Princess's Mallow. Rae grinned. "Well hi there little one." She paused and looked around. "I think you're safe to deliver that egg. I cutyou doesn't seem to notice you for the moment."
Kasumi: "0.080¤? For that much I could just buy a mess of growth hormones and force him to stay a baby! I think you can go lower." Kasumi eyed the approaching pony, but didn't really do much because Jyoji had already stepped in front of her and made it clear he was not going to move. Kasumi also listened to what Rae said, and as Rae was walking away, Kasumi called out to her. "The note worked."
Shady: The figure shrugged at the question regarding how legit the stones are, keeping an eye on his pony. "I don't think you can be sure I'm telling the truth. But it'd sure ruin my reputation as a vendor."
He paused and then smirked again, "Well you go ahead an' do that," he shrugged yet again and motioned towards his pony, "C'mon, Shadow. I guess we'll leave these trainers be."
The pony, Shadow, simply stood there in front of the purple-haired trainer, pointedly sniffing at the baby pony that accompanied her.
Kasumi: Kasumi's face started to turn red. "Hey! What kind of vendor doesn't haggle?! And why is your pony staring at me?"
Yaneci: Yaneci shruggs at the man. "Yeah, well considering none of us know you, your reputation dosen't matter much right now. Does it?"
Appeal: Appeal watched the actions between the newcomer and Sailor Kasumi and pulled a piece of rice off her rice ball and flicked it at Sailor Kasumi.
Kasumi: Kasumi swatted away a piece of rice that hit her. "Is there something you need to tell me Appeal, or are you simply amusing yourself?"
Appeal: "Simply amusing myself," she said ponder in her tune, "or distracting you so he can snatch your baby."
Shady: The figure snorted, "Don't ask me. He never listens..." he stretched his hands in the gloves he was wearing and "hmm"d.
"The kind that doesn't like haggling, I imagine."
Kasumi: "So just because you're miserable you have to make the rest of us miserable too." Kasumi turned back to the vendor and mulled everything over in her head. "Well... I do want my baby to stay a baby... Oh, alright, I guess if it really does what you say I'll pay what you're asking."
Appeal: "I am not miserable," she said with a wry smile, "I have these rice balls... mmm..."
Kasumi: "I thought you ran out of riceballs and that's why you were having a freak-out session earlier."
Yaneci: Yaneci looks shocked, wondering how Kasumi could just believe the man. However she dosen't say anything, certian that not only is it not her place but it's just her overactive paranoia working again. "I'll be back in a while." She says to no one in particular. Then heads off in what she thinks, or hopes at least, is the way she and Zar came from the front gate.
Appeal: "No," Appeal said, as she swallowed a bite. "I am just down to very few... I had like thirty and that little thing ate over half."
Shady: "Excellent." the figure exclaimed softly, tossing one of the stones towards Kasumi. Rather unexpectantly, Shadow jumped up to block the stone, catching it, rather skillfully, on the top of his head. He tilted towards Kasumi and her baby, offering her the stone.
"That's enuff showin' off, Shadow, we have to go." the vendor glanced down the path that led to the entrance and snapped his fingers at the stubborn pony.
Appeal: Appeal clapped at Shadow's trick, entertainment with a meal was best.
Kasumi: Kasumi completely ignored Appeal, assuming she was on some sort of riceball high. She smirked at Shadow's trick, and gingerly plucked the stone from his head. It took a bit of maneuvering, but she managed to hold onto the baby and get her money out of her bag without dropping anything. As she placed the coins on Shadow's head, Kasumi mused aloud, "It seems you are a man of your word. Pleasure doing business with you."
Shady: "Come now, Shadow." the Vendor nodded at the purple-haired trainer, "Likewise."
Shadow narrowed its eyes at the Vendor- not that you could see it- and very slowly made its way over to his owner, careful not to drop any of the coins as he went.

Shady: Some time during the fuss over the Ho-oh, a rather suspicious looking character managed to sneak into the clearing and set up shop.
He stood in front of his table, arms spread wide, and yelled rather loudly, "Come one come all! Rare, unique ponies up for grabs!"
Shera: Shera walked back into the scene, yawning. She had watched the catch of the Ho-Oh and couldn't help but to keep out of it. When she noticed hte vendor she slide over to him and smiled. "Rare you say?
Kasumi: Kasumi rolled her eyes and took her items. "Thanks, I'm good for now." She headed on over to the new vendors table and looked the pokeballs over. "How long does the auction last?"
Appeal: Appeal grinned and took the box, in exchange hanging her the appropriate coins to Midi. "Thank you," she said, and then Lucky Star quickly begun to tug on her arm again, "Aaah, stop that you too," but it was no use, the more she resisted the harder they pulled. Apparently they wanted to shop. Eventually, Appeal made it to the end of the path and a figure she'd believed to have seen before, Shady Vendor? Oh.
Appeal looked over the table, "What's this?" she thought outloud. " A shiny auction. Okay than, I'd like to bid 0.100¤ on that Mareep."
Shady: The Shady Vendor looked up suddenly, dropping whatever was in his hands into a box at his feet. He had been distracted by... Something, and had not heard anything anybody said to him before a girl offering a bid on the Mareep.
"Sorry, wa'?"
Zak: "wow Lots of shiny pokeponies," Her eyes scanned the shiny ponies that were up for auction. "I'd like to bid .250¤ on the mareep"
Tsuki: Tsuki stepped up beside Appeal. "So, what's the Down Low here?" She giggled, looking up at the Shady Vendor. "Oh! A shiny Marill! And a Miltank!" She clapped. "I'd like to bid .500¤ on Marill and .500¤ on Miltank."
Kasumi: Kasumi frowned at the shady vendor. "How long does the auction last?"
Shady: The Shady Vendor stared at the girls for a moment before giving a quick nod of the head, "A'ight then."
The eyed Kasumi for a long time, finally speaking after at least ten seconds, "It lasts until the Bazaar is over."
Appeal: Appeal sighed and waved her hand some with a sigh. "I did," she said as she watched Lucky Star run to either side of Shady Vendor and bounce around him. Appeal pointed to the table and the sign. "You heard me, right? I'd like to make a bid, on this shiny Mareep. 0.100¤."
She took a breath after he spoke and smiled, "Good then."
Tsuki: Tsuki nodded to the Shady Vendor. "What time does the Bazaar end?"
Kasumi: Kasumi's frown disappeared and was replaced by a curious look as the vendor stared at her. What was his deal? "Okay." She cocked her head for a moment before it hit her. "Aren't you the man who sold me the everstone?"
Yaneci: Yaneci steps up to Shady Vendor's table and examines the pokeballs. "I'd like to bid 200 on Sneasel and 200 on Dunsparce."
Shady: The man cast a glance towards Tsuki and shrugged, "I think Sunday. Monday mornin' maybe."
He looked up at Appeal and pointed at the sign, again, "That li'l lady right there bid more."
He returned his gaze to the purple haired trainer, his eyes never leaving her face, and he nodded curtly, "I am."
The Shady Vendor took down Yaneci's bids and updated the lists again, "Thanks" he said gruffly.
Tsuki: Tsuki nodded. "Do I give you my bid money then?" She asked, hoping she won the Shinies she bid on.
Kasumi: Kasumi felt something odd as the vendor continued to stare at her. His gaze was... interesting. She placed her hands on the table and leaned in a little closer, her lips curling into a smile. "Well then, it's a pleasure to see you again."
Appeal: Appeal looked over and sighed, waving those two bouncy bouncy ponies back. "0.300¤ then."
Shady: The Vendor shook his head, "Naw." he started, "You keep that 'til the auction's over."
He was about to say something else when the purple haired trainer leaned into his face. He kept a very straight expression painted over his eyes as his own mouth tilted into a lop-sided smile, "The pleasure is mine."
He snapped out of his mini-staring contest to look at Appeal and took down the new number to update the list.
Kasumi: Kasumi laughed, a laugh she almost never did. She was a giggler, so to give a throaty laugh was something foreign to her. She straightened back up and poked through her coinpurse. "I think I'd like a little more change in here before I start doing some bidding. I'll be back in a bit." She winked, turned, and walked back to the Trader's table.
Shady: The Shady Vendor silently watched as Kasumi retreated to the Trader, her regarded her retreating form a moment longer before turning back to watch the general going-ons at the Bazaar.
Kasumi: Kasumi felt a flush creep up her face as she went back to the Trader's table. Part of her wondered if the vendor was watching, but she didn't dare turn around. Kasumi filled out the form she needed, but before speaking to the Trader, she remembered something: he was a lech. Maybe this could work for her. She casually leaned on the table, not as much as she had at the vendor's, but enough that the Trader would notice. "Hi, I'm back again. It seems I'm in need of 10 more stones and an E package." She smiled her most dazzling smile, which probably paled in comparison to the pearly whites the Trader had.
Trader: The Trader quietly accepted Yaneci's application and glanced at it before looking up at her, "Seems the Bazaar has a lot of things people want." a tone in his voice that implied that he meant more than just the things being sold. He slid about a handful of coins into a bag and handed the bag to her, "Enjoy" he added.
Trader stared good and hard at the purple haired trainer leaning on his table, "So you've finally warmed up to me?" he chuckled as he fished out the stones and another bag to drop some coins in. He held it out to her, his fingers wrapped tightly around the top.
Kasumi: Kasumi wondered what the Trader was referring to in his comment to Yaneci. She shrugged it off as he turned his attention back to her. She gave him another smile and gently wrapped her fingers around a lower part of the bag. "You're not so bad."
Kitty: Kitty then says to the Shady Vendor, "I would like to bid 100 pieces on Sudowoodo."
Shady: The Shady Vendor grunted an almost unintelligible "Thank ya."
His eyes stared past Kitty, towards the Trader's stand. He watched for only a moment before turning back to Kitty, "Yeah, thanks."
Shera: Shera looked at the vendor. "I would like to bid 900¤ on the Mareep, please. When does this auction end?"
Kasumi: Kasumi was growing annoyed with the Trader for not letting her stupid bag go, so she snatched it and walked away. Before she could go back to the vendor, however, she noticed that everyone was packing up for the night. She silently cursed herself for taking so long, and retreated with her ponies to a nearby tree to rest for the night.

Kasumi: Kasumi entered the clearing, just in time to see Events announce the Bazaar's opening. Her heart skipped a beat as she headed toward the vendor's table. She waited behind Shera and Snow, who seemed to have a slight bidding war going on.
Shady: The Shady Vendor slipped by his table, picking up the notes as he settled down behind it, "Bid war?" he asked, nonchalantly.
He glanced past Shera and Snow to gaze at the purple haired trainer standing behind them before returning his attention to the bidding girls.
Kasumi: Kasumi didn't know what the two girls in front of her were doing anymore, perhaps they were having a staring contest because they were as silent as the grave. She yawned and opened her bag so she could pull Eil out and play with him. Hopefully they'd move out of her way soon.
Shera: Shera had stood back after waiting for Snow to make her move again but nothing happened. She assumed it was over for now. She moved to the side and let Kasumi take her turn.
Kasumi: Kasumi was about to thank Shera for moving, when Makoto suddenly started to glow. "Oh my, Mako-chan! Look at you, you're all grown up-- and so pretty!" She hugged her new Meganium and softly petted the flower petals around her neck.
Kasumi: Kasumi gave Makoto one final pat before stepping up to the Shady Vendor's table. She tenderly cradled Eil in one arm and with the other idly played with the fabric of her robe. "Hello again."
Shady: The Shady Vendor looked up as he heard somebody addressing him, he nodded a greeting to her, but added "Hello," regardless.
He did not have much to say today and simply stared rather intently at her face.
Shera: Shera watched the pony flee, with the bell, from Zak. "Aww...better luck next time, eh?" She turned her attention to watch Kasumi and the Vendor.
Kasumi: Kasumi didn't know what to make of the situation. The Shady Vendor had no charming words for her today, but his unrelenting gaze seemed to speak all on it's own. She cast her eyes downward, afraid to look up again. She realized she didn't know the current high bid on the pony she wanted, so she would have to ask him. She spoke rather softly, her eyes focused on the table. "What's the high bid on the Mareep?"
Appeal: Appeal makes sure Events has the bell before thanking her and waving her as she runs off, leaving Lucky Star to play with Events as she headed over to Shady Vendor. As she reached the table she looked over the bid list. "Hm," she said, glancing at Sailor Kasumi and then looking up to Shady Vendor. "1.000¤ on the Mareep."
Tsuki: Tsuki stepped up to the Shady Vendor as well as she checked on her bids. "Good." She smiled to herself.
Zak: Zak looked at the list of bids, before her eyes landed on the Shady Vendor. "I would like to bid .500¤ on the Sudowoodo and .600¤ on the Marril,"
Tsuki: Tsuki looked at Zak. "I'd feel really badly to outbid you when you're standing right here..." She looked apologetic. "I'd like to up my bids to 1.000¤ on Marill and 1.000¤ on Miltank." She said to the Shady Vendor.
Shera: Shera smiled at Appeal and at all the other sudden bids. "I would like to bid 4000¤ on Mareep." Her voice was soft, she didn't really have to think about the amount she just bid.
Shady: The Shady Vendor looked back and forth between Appeal and Shera before returning his steely gaze to Kasumi.
"Don't think I know, right now." he said gruffly, nodding his head in the girl's directions, "Seems they both want it."
He shrugged as he updated the other bids.
Kasumi: Kasumi nodded. "4000¤ is a little rich for my blood. I'd have to make another trip to the Trader..." She glanced over her shoulder at his table, which was empty. "And quite frankly, I'd rather not do that again," she said in a very flat voice.
Appeal: Appeal glanced at Sheraira from under her mask and then smiled at Shady Vendor. "Be back later, I need to... take a visit to... argh... Trader," and then she dragged herself over to look for Trader... why... why... him again. Maybe he got a girlfriend in the fifteen hours she was gone and suddenly gained some morals.
Appeal: Appeal looked around some more, it was pretty quiet now and she couldn't even find Trader. The most she found was Tsukiyomi Morningstar and that silver bell. Lucky Star was finally out of energy from playing with Events as they slowly dragged themselves back and Appeal just chuckled. Silly ponies.
With the two ponies back, she headed towards Shady Vendor who she had left several hours back. She looked around and then seen him, "I am back, thankfully I found some money without going to see... argh, Trader. I'll bid 4.025¤ on Mareep."
Shady: The Shady Vendor grunted an "okay" at Appeal's bid and added it to the list as her attention was pulled away.
He glanced about the clearing, his eyes moving quickly over the purple haired trainer at his table.
Kasumi: Kasumi watched pointedly as Events bounced into the area, carrying something. She let out a breath, and dug around in her purse. When the Shady Vendor didn't respond to her earlier, and with all the other trainers crowding around, she had just blended in with them, but they were all gone now. She looked the vendor squarely in the eye as she pushed her money forward. "0.600¤ on the Sneasel, please." She gave him a faint smile, afraid to show anything more.
Yaneci: Yaneci sees Shady Vendor is back and remembering her note decides to go see him. Standing she walks over to his table, when she gets near she overhears Kasumi's bid. "I'll up my bid on Sneasel to 700 Safari Cash." Then she points at the note taped down by Dunsparce. "I also upped my bid on Dunsparce to 600 Safari Cash."
Shady: With a small grin, the Vendor tapped on a little keypad, updating the bid on the Sneasel and Dunsparce... He raised his eyes to Kasumi's and shrugged, "Already outbid it looks like, Pretty Thing."
Kasumi: Kasumi's smiled widened. "I'm not defeated so easily. 900¤." Her tone suggested she was not referring to just the bidding war.
Shady: Shady arched a brow at Kasumi's statement, but tap-tapped away at the keypad to update the bid, "A stubborn girl, hmm?"
Yaneci: "I'm not so easily done either. I bid 1,000 on Sneasel" Having said that she looks around, seeing Midi and Kitty, wondering if Kitty had any luck getting a moon stone. Deciding to check she wanders over. "Hi hi Kitty. Get that moon stone you wanted?"
Shady: A small chuckle sounded from Shady as he updated the numbers, yet again. He raised his eyes to Kasumi's, one corner of his lips curled up in a smirk, "How stubborn are ya?"
Kasumi: Kasumi eyed Yaneci as she replied to Shady's comment. "Incredibly stubborn." She looked back at him, square in the eye. "I always get what I want. 1.200¤."
Zak: Zak got up from her spot and walked over to the Shady Vendor's booth. "I'd like to bid .750¤ on the Dunsparce," She told the Shady Vendor.
Shady: Shady chortled softly as he silently regarded the girl in front of him, updating the bid without a glance at the key-pad, "Flirt." he said blatantly.
Kasumi: Kasumi was sure she was grinning like an idiot. She cocked her head and studied Shady's face. "I'm not hearing any complaints."
Zak: Zak stayed at the shady vender's booth and waited to make sure he had heard her bid.
Shady: Shady glanced towards Zak and nodded, "S'rry, missed it while updatin'." he mumbled before returning his gaze to Kasumi. "'S not ev'ry day a pretty girl pays attention to me."
Yaneci: Yaneci shifts impatiently, wondering what's going on with the bids. "I'll be back in a few minutes." She tells Trader. Then she turns and almost runs to Shady Vendor's table. Pulling to a stop she blurts out. "I bid 1,000 on Dunsparce and 2,000 on Sneasel."
Kasumi: Kasumi blushed. "It's not very often a handsome vendor is around." She looked over at Yaneci as she approached, afraid she was going to knock the table over. She sighed. "I bid 2,200."
Yaneci: Yaneci shrugs. "I bid 2,300 on Sneasel." She says.
Kasumi: Kasumi smiled. "2,400."
Shady: Shady kept his eyes on Kasumi a moment longer before looking away, clearing his throat. "Ahem."
He glanced around the clearing and waved his arms about in a half-hearted attempt to get attention. "I'll be packing up in about... Thirty minutes... So bids need to be in before then."
He settled back down and updated the new bids.
Yaneci: Yaneci thinks a moment. "2,500."
Kasumi: Kasumi stopped for a moment, completely oblivious to Yaneci's latest bid. "You're leaving?"
Yaneci: Yaneci looks from Kasumi to Vendor. "Why not ask him for his number?" She whispers to Kasumi.
Kasumi: Shady hadn't responded yet, so Kasumi whispered back to Yaneci. "What if that's too forward?"
Yaneci: Yaneci snorts, trying not to laugh. "Just ask. He likes you too, yus? If you don't ask him what happens when he leaves? You may never see him again is what happens." Yaneci whispers her reply.
Kasumi: Kasumi let the worry show on her face as Yaneci spoke to her. "Yeah, I guess you're right... dammit, now I can't outbid you on the Sneasel. Why do you have to be so nice?" Kasumi laughed softly.
Shady: Shady nodded absentmindedly at Kasumi's question. "Yup." he wasn't going to say anymore, but the girls were whispering to each other... "I'll be... Wanderin' again."
Yaneci: Yaneci blushes, that was not her intention by helping Kasumi. "Sure you can, at least until I bid more then you have. Though no matter who wins wanna try breeding for a shiny for the loser?"
Kasumi: Kasumi smiled. "No, I think the better girl has won. And yeah, that would be great." She turned back to Shady.
She thought about asking for his number, but he was a wanderer, he just said so himself. She was certain he didn't own a phone, so she tried another approach. "Will you be back?" She couldn't keep the look of hope off her face.
Appeal: Appeal groaned, she had been watching Sailor Kasumi and Shady Vendor for awhile now. She suddenly burst out laughing and then walked away, Lucky Star prancing behind her.
Yaneci: Kasumi's statement leaves Yaneci speechless. Yaneci has always thought herself an impatient, whiny b***h. Though she does try extra hard not to appear so. After a moment she just shrugs, figguring either she's changed or she can act better then she though. She whispers "G'luck" to Kasumi before heading back to Trader. "Sorry that took longer then expected."
Shady: Shady stared rather intently at Kasumi before finally answering, "Don't know... Possibly."
He watched her expression as he spoken and then- "Probably."
Kasumi: Kasumi ignored the hyena-like braying of Appeal in the background, she would have to remember to steal some of her riceballs later and feed them to wild ponies.
She bit her lip and decided it was now or never. She looked down as she tentatively reached forward, touching her bare hand to his gloved one. She was almost positive her face was as red as a tomato, and her words were barely audible. "I-I'd really like to see you again." She raised her eyes to his face, making sure the last bit was loud enough for him to hear. "I like you."
Shady: Shady cleared his throat at Kasumi's words as he stared towards her, his eyes searching hers. He glanced down at her pale hand on his dark glove and then back up at her before nodding a bit. "Uh..." he started, before pausing and clearing his throat again.
He gently pulled his hand away and turned towards the crowd once more, "Uh... Just a few minutes until bids are no longer accepted!"
Kasumi: Kasumi blinked slowly. She felt like a cold wind had swept through her entire body. She could feel the tears rising, waiting to pour down her cheeks. She waited until he finished his announcement, and with a slight breath said, "600 on the Sudowoodo." She turned and left, praying he didn't see the tears that were trailing down her cheeks.
Appeal: Appeal wandered back over to Shady Vendor and stood silently behind Sailor Kasumi. She tapped on her shoulders and waited for her to turn around, holding out a rice ball in her hands.
Shady: Shady watched as Kasumi retreated and let out a little sigh.
"Alright! Auction's over!" he announced somewhat loudly and without much emotion, "I'll... Double check the bids then announce the winners."
Yaneci: Yaneci turns and looks toward Vendor's booth in time to see Kasumi leaving. Wondering what's up she walks over to Kasumi. "You OK?" Seeing the look on her face she shakes her head. "Guess not.. want me to go yell at him for you?" This is said in a half joking maner, trying to cher Kasumi up. But there is also a hint of thruth, suggesting Yaneci would do just that if Kasumi agreed to it.
Kasumi: Kasumi nearly bumped into Appeal as she tried to get away. She stared at her, then slowly noticed she was holding a riceball. She wiped at her face. "For me?"
She then noticed Yaneci was next to her. "No, I'm not okay." She glanced back at Shady's table. "Don't do anything you'd regret."
Appeal: Appeal merely nodded to Sailor Kasumi and didn't say anything as she moved her outstretched hands towards her again.
Kasumi: Kasumi smiled and took the riceball. "Thanks." She raised it to her mouth and nibbled a tiny bit of it. "It's good, did you make it yourself?"
Tsuki: Tsuki made her way over to the Shady Vendor's booth once more, standing with the others to see the announced winners. "Kasumi!" She was by Kasumi and Yaneci in moments. "What happened?" She asked.
Appeal: Appeal nodded. "Yes, cheaper that way..."
It was a thing that was very important considering how much she ate.
Yaneci: "Why would I regret yelling at him?" Yaneci asks. "Though maybe yelling won't do any good.. maybe he's just shy?" Yaneci sighs. "Now I dunno what to do.. Suppose it's best if I stay out of it.. I don't wanna get him mad at you. Especially if it's just a case of being shy."
Kasumi: Kasumi turned to Tsuki, and gave her a weak smile. "Let's just say I tried to offer something very sincere to someone who didn't want it, apparently."
She laughed at Appeal. "Yes, considering how much you eat." She took another big bite. Who knew riceballs were so soothing to the soul? After she finished chewing, she looked over at Yaneci. "I don't know if it's shyness or not. Shyness wouldn't make sense, because I did all the work for him." Kasumi shrugged. "Maybe he's just not that into me."
Appeal: Appeal gave a slight laugh, "Considering."
Shady: A twinge of guilt ran through Shady as he watched the girls surround Kasumi. He looked down at the list of bids and let out another sigh.
"Mareep goes to Appeal for 4.025¤, Marill goes to Tsuki for 1.000¤, Sudowoodo goes to Ka-" he paused mid-word and frowned before restarting, "Kasumi for 0.600¤. Miltank goes to Tsuki for 1.000¤, Dunsparce to Yaneci for 1.000¤ and Sneasel also to Yaneci for 2.500¤."
He pulled the glass containers towards himself and pulled the bag he carried around onto the table. "With the exception of Miltank, 'salways female, I need you lot to pick out which gender you want."
Yaneci: Yaneci nods. "He could have at least saved you the trouble and not encouraged it." And idea strikes Yaneci. "Maybe it's because he wanders.. Maybe he does like you, but doesn't want to try a long distance relationship."
Kitty: Kitty sees something is wrong as she starts to wander over as she sees that Kasumi is upset. Kitty wants to hug her to make her feel better...but sees she's eating a rice ball, which is a waste of good food. "Are you ok?" is sadly all Kitty could muster up, since she usually think hugs makes people feel better then just asking if they are ok...
Tsuki: Tsuki wrapped an arm around Kasumi. Sora floated about the violet-haired Trainer and nuzzled her cheek, wanting very much for Kasumi to cheer up. "He seems to be a hard man to figure out. Just give it time." She gave Kasumi a squeeze. She had seen the exchange between the strange man and the young Trainer and her heart went out.
Appeal: Appeal grabbed Sailor Kasumi's hand and dragged her back to Shady Vendor's table, ignoring the other girls who surrounded her. When she got back to the table, she was watching him the same way she looks at Trader before she tipped her mask up to Shady Vendor with a smile she said, "Male would be best..."
Kasumi: Kasumi smiled brightly at all the girls surrounding her. "You guys are too sweet. I feel like I'm in a cheesy sorority movie. Thanks, really." She was dimly aware that Shady had called her name, and dreaded going back to the table. She considered Yaneci's theory. "That's true, but... he has no idea where I come from. What makes him think I don't wander around too? We're pokepony trainers, it's hard for us to stay in one place. You make a good point... but what can I do?" She looked over to Kitty, who had just arrived. "Just a broken heart, I'll survive."
Kasumi sighed as Sora nuzzled her. "Time is all I have, so I guess it won't be hard to give."
Before she could say anything else, Appeal was dragging her to the place she did NOT want to go. She stood in fear as Appeal gave her gender.
Tsuki: Tsuki watched Appeal take Kasumi off. If anyone could get the Shady man to listen, Appeal could for sure! Tsuki followed after the two in short order. "I would like my Marill to be a Male, please." She nodded, excited that she had won but still heart broken for Kasumi. "Can we name them here with you?" She asked Shady.
Yaneci: Yaneci's ears twitch when she hears Shady call out the winners. Half of her wants to go over and give him a piece of her mind. The other half wants to ignore the first half because she doesn't want to make things worse if it's just a misunderstanding. Sighing she turns and goes down to his table, debating with herself over it. "Both male for me." She has to bite her tounge to keep from saying anything else. Though the displeased look barely concealed on her face may give some of what she's thinking away.
Appeal: Appeal glared at Sailor Kasumi for a moment before nudging her in the side. "Stop biting on your tongue and speak woman, he's not gone yet so stop trying to pretend he's not there. Collect your prize."
Kasumi: Kasumi groaned and averted her gaze from Shady as she quietly spit out, "Female for my Sudowoodo please. As Tsuki asked, may I name her here?" Kasumi shot Appeal a look as she pondered all the meanings behind 'collect your prize.' What the hell was she supposed to say?
Shady: Shady nodded slowly before digging around in his bag, slowly removing six Pokeballs. "Sorry. I can't name ponies." he shrugged, "Don't have access to th' computer. I'm sorry." he said softly, his gaze falling on Kasumi with the last.
"Here are your ponies."
Kasumi: Kasumi caught the second sorry, but wasn't sure if he said it to let her down easier or to ask for a second chance. She wanted to crawl away, but for some odd reason, having Appeal by her side made her feel stronger. She locked her gaze with his, and held out her hand, palm up, waiting for her pokeball.
Tsuki: Tsuki took her Pokeballs, hardly containing her excitement for having won. She was still hurt for Kasumi as she looked at the Shady Vendor. "Thank you, sir." She handed over her Safari Cash.
Appeal: "You should be sorry," she said with a pause, "I really wanted to name it."
She didn't wait, and scooped up the ball off the table, tucking it into her bag until she got to the computer. She glanced to Sailor Kasumi and then to Shady Vendor, "Thanks," she said as she put her weight on one side and crossed her arms over her waist. Her dull grey eyes staring through her silver locks directly at Shady Vendor.
Yaneci: Yaneci scoops up her two pokeballs and tucks them into her belt pouch. Digging out her cash she hands it to Shady. "Thanks."
Shady: Shady carefully handed Kasumi her Pokeball, making a point to not let his hand brush against hers. After a moment he looked up, feeling a heavy gaze upon him. He simply stared straight back at the silver-haired girl, unflinching.
Kasumi: Kasumi clenched her fist around her pokeball and practically threw her money at him. She turned and stopped, as Appeal was nearly right behind her. She looked down at her pokeball and made a decision. She hastily shoved it into her belt and turned around again. She looked Shady square in the eye. "What the hell is your problem?"
Shady: Shady shrugged, not taking his eyes away from Kasumi's. "It's the way I am." he mused, his voice holding a hint of sadness.
Tsuki: Tsuki turned to see a fiery Kasumi finally confronting the Vendor. "You go!" She whispered and Sora whinnied in agreement. This sudden exchange mad Tsuki look back towards Trader's table. She strongly considered buying more Safari Balls, Rocks and Feed just to see him, but as it was she didn't even know how much of any she really had and she didn't want to just go over there! That'd be silly!
Kasumi: Kasumi laughed, and it was bitter. "That's a piss excuse. You're a coward." She looked away for a moment, her eyes settling on the deep and dark forest. She stared for what felt like hours, but was probably only minutes. She spoke again, but it was much softer. "I like to wander too. It's nice to know the Earth is one endless adventure. I come here because I get lonely..." She trailed off, not sure what else to say.
Shady: Shady chuckled softly, "Mebbe I am a coward."
He was silent, like her, not knowing what to say.
After a long minute he sighed, "I am not the type of person you wanna travel with." he shook his head as he began to pack up his table, "I us'ly find myself in ill favour of Officer Jenny."
Kasumi: Kasumi giggled. "She took me down to the station once. Said she was pretty sure it was illegal to bathe ponies in the fountain at Petalburg." She crinkled her nose. "I don't know why though, it's not like there was anyone around. I mean, it was midnight for crying out loud." Kasumi frowned, now annoyed at the memory of sitting in that stupid place all night long. She absently flicked one of her thin braids around, passing it from hand to hand.
Appeal: Appeal continued to stare at Shady Vendor until she suddenly burst out laughing again. Apparently everyone missed the joke, even her, as she tipped her mask back down, turned heel and walked away from the couple -- disappearing into the night with the two pink blobs bouncing up, down and all around as they followed endlessly.
Shady: Shady chuckled softly as he dumped the last of his items in an over-sized sack and flung it over his shoulder. He stared at the Pokeball in his free hand and glanced over towards Kasumi. "I have to go." he said softly.
He took a step closer to her and placed the Pokeball in her hands, "She's been good company. I want you to take her."
"I s'pose I'll likely be back b'fore the end of the season. Enjoy the rest of it." His words were soft- kind; not the gruff tone he usually spoke in. He began walking towards the path to the exit of the Safari and turned just before the clearing was out of view to wave at Kasumi.
Kasumi: Kasumi gasped as he handed the pokeball to her. "Thank you, I'll take good care of her." Her face was tinted with a faint blush as he spoke to her in this new tone. She had finally gotten through, if even only a little. "I'll be waiting for you."
She watched him walk away, and clutched the pokeball to her chest. When he turned and waved back at her, she blew him kiss. She knew he would be back.
When he was finally out of sight, she released the new pokepony from the pokeball. The ghostly pony floated around her, as if inspecting her. She must have liked her, because she nuzzled her face. Kasumi giggled and pulled the pony into her arms. "Bedtime." She walked over to the small circle of bushes she normally slept in, and noticed Makoto, Helios, and her new Sudowoodo were already asleep. She laid down in their warmth, and Missy settled next to her. Kasumi sleepily closed her eyes as images of the mysterious vendor danced around in her head.
