Now that the Valentine Events are done, just a few more awards to give out, I wanted to share how the inspiration behind the Valentine candies. They were fun to find the images for, but I'm afraid we nearly flattened our amazingly hard working talented Photoshop witch *note to self: think of a project SEVERAL people can work on*
Anyway, I thought the following you tube video was very funny, then I saw a pix of what I thought a great Sir Cadogan, and the Valentine Candies idea were birthed in full form. Maybe kinda like how JKR felt after her train ride when Harry first appeared to her and she got his full story. Maybe not.
Anyway, I'd had the name ~Gilderoy Lockhart's Glorious Goblin Delivered Valentines~ already, and was just looking for a way to make that into an event.

Oh, and in trying various combos of words in a search, I came on a delightful idea, and followed the link to a fanfic which I enjoyed, unfortunately not finished yet, but left me eager for more.
So I started a thread in the FanFiction subforum for good cross-over stories.
Only the best, I hope will be posted there, as there are some pretty lame
cross-overs out there.
