I have this theory that certain dreams I've had are my brain's interpretations of messages that spirits of one sort or another have given me either throughout the day and I am unaware, or as I am sleeping. They're all accompanied by a strong, distinctive sensation I find hard to describe other than nostalgia, or a strong connection felt in the chest or navel rather than in the head (such as deja vu for me anyway). There is also always a clear message or lesson that I am supposed to learn from the dream. And there is always some sort of being or person in my dream that is physically close to me and has an in-depth conversation that is, at the time, crystal clear, but hard to remember when waking. It could be a spirit guide, or just an incorporeal entity, or even perhaps another person if you think about it too deeply.
I've had over a dozen of these such dreams, and they've taught me lessons about a lot of different things. For instance: The truth of pure evil (for lack of a better word) is something that cannot be comprehended sanely in the waking mind (at least for myself; The feeling of purely spiritual ecstasy; A lesson about what really separates the truly dead from the living or restless dead; A lesson about false perception, perhaps a warning against following one concept or entity too blindly; And a handful of lessons that I cannot remember in my waking mind, but I have recalled a few while dreaming.
I have also had dreams or realizations in my hypnogogic mind about people, and when I immediately go to talk to someone who knows that person, they will have been thinking about them too or have had a similar dream around the same time.
Anyway, all I really have to go on is my own experiences, so please... if you have thoughts on this or have had a similar experience, talk about it here. Discuss (if experience): What lessons or realizations have you had, What were some of the reactions of others when you tried telling them about this "dream", The "dream" in general, Or discuss: Theories or criticism regarding communication in a dreamlike state.

I have had only one of those kind of dreams that I remember. In it I found the meaning of religion, and a truth of a relationship, I didn't want to accept, but the spirit was the "thing" I worship as a goddess and a Mother... sweatdrop Hmm.. Might not be the same deal...
