Gracie just left the kitchen. She was toting a bag of chips with her. She was in the mood for snacks, but she was not in the mood to stay in one place. She was feeling like she needed to get out there and meet some people.
She felt like it was her lucky day just as she walked into the game room. Woohoo! And.. someone was playing it! Even more fantabulous... Gracie sauntered up there and tried to not startle the guy.
"Hi there! I'm Gracie. Mind if I join you? I mean.. you don't mind if a girl plays.. do ya?" Noone had asked or invited her of course. She usually didn't require one however. She was more than happy to throw herself into social situations and worry about fixing it later.

William was in the game room playing a video game. It was a bit boring for his taste, but he liked playing a game at least once before saying 'yay' or 'nay' against it. His tongue stuck out as he made a jump, a tad annoyed that he couldn't use his arm controllers for the game.
He looked away from the screen only briefly when someone walked in, but he quickly returned his attention to it. It was when she had introduced herself and asked if she could join, when he paused the game and looked to her. He chuckled as he got up and puffed up his chest. "You dare challenge William... the video game expert?!" He proclaimed. He knew he wasn't an expert, he just liked bragging.

She hadn't originally intended it to be a challenge, but she was happy to make it one. "Oh, is that right? I can't claim to be an expert.. but I am a quick read. I can pick anything up. What kind of game are you playing? If it's tennis on wiisports, I can kick your can; I bet! Don't think just cuz I'm a girl that I won't do well. I been playing games all my life." She stuck her tongue out playfully.

He smirked, keeping his chest puffed up. "Games all your life, huh? Well, how can that dare compete to one made around a the greatest video game system ever?!" He replied, sitting back down and looking for the case of the game he was playing. Once he found it, he showed it to her. "Nope, I found Wiisports too easy. I'm playing Guilty Gear yadda yadda yadda... who cares for the full name of the game."

She was pulverized! Gracie had never played any of the Guilty Gear games. She knew it was a fighting game. It couldn't be that hard. Right? Oh yeah.. Nintendo ... wii.... she'd have to be a little more proactive maybe. She stood there and grew even more fierce and determined.
"Oh... I'm game if you are. I'd be more than happy to take up your little challenge there... PAL." She looked sideways at him with a half giggle and much smirking.

Without a word, he grabbed another Wiimote and nunchuck set and handed it to her. He then exited the fight he was playing so she could start playing against him.
To be honest, he wasn't sure if he could wipe her out easily with this game, considering he just started playing and was working on getting used to each of the fighters when she came in. Once he set everything up and got to the character selection menu, he looked to her. "You ready?"

The honesty in her got the better of her. "Well, I actually never played any of the guilty gear games before. Is it just like Dead or Alive? Cuz.. i've played a few of those. The older ones... " She looked at him. She set up her wiimote nad nunchuk in both hands. She remained standing, but she was in a stance that looked like she was about to do karate with someone. It was likely amusing and comical.

William looked up to her when she had stated that she never played the game before. "I never played Dead or Alive actually, so I wouldn't know. This is also my first time playing this game as well." He told her, having to be honest. "I really don't know what to tell you. It works like any other fighting game really... well, except for Smash Brothers."

Gracie was finding herself fairly amused. She thought all the girls had too much cleavage, but they were all hot. She wondered if it were possible to get one's own body reworked to look that way. Still, she was 'ooh'ing' and 'aah'ing' at all the flashy moves. She was giggling and laughing when her toon would fail. She wasn't really too worried about losing the first few rounds. After all.. she was just getting to know the game. She looked sideways at him, "I'm Gracie by the way.. did I say that already?"

[Sorry for taking so long to reply Grace. For the longest while, I didn't know how to reply to it.]
The orange wayward was drowned in the game so far, eyes never leaving the screen. Since he was still sort of new to the game and the controls, special moves rarely showed up, but it was great to watch when they did. He lost a few times as well, especially when some of the controls didn't want to cooperate, but he didn't mind. At her introduction, he peeled his eyes away from the game only long enough to take a quick glance at her. "Yeah... you told me that when we first met."

Gracie just chuckled lightly and rubbed the back of her head. "Heh. Yeah sorry.. I do that sometimes. Retell people the same thing if I forget whether I told that person or not..." Then, she had nearly dropped her wiimote in all of that. After a moment of fumbling, she caught it just fine.

William just chuckled softly, "Don't worry about it, I'll keep it a secret." He told her playfully. He had paused the game when she had rubbed the back of her head, not wanting to have an unfair advantage while she was occupied with doing something else. He was unphased by her dropping the wiimote, mainly because she had caught it. If she hadn't then he would have been a little worried, but not so much since Nintendo has been proven to be a sturdy game system.

Gracie just looked sideways at him, and she regrouped herself. She narrowed her eyes, grinned, and tapped away. She started trying to do major button mashing. It was completely random, and she was totally just pressing anything. She couldn't remember what the buttons were to do that fancy move anyways. "Hmm.. is there a Mario Kart? I think I'd be better with that. Racing games are totally my thing."

When they re-entered the game, he got drowned once again. He did his own button mashing as well, but he did it less and less the more he found out the special moves, tail wagging frantically behind him. At her question, he paused the game once more and gave his thumbs a rest. "Yeah... but not for the Wii... at least, not yet."
