I hadn't realized just how much G1 had influenced the actors for the new series . . . Like the voice of Spike Witwicky being the voice of Megs and Ratchet?! eek

I heard on tformers.com that the DVD'll be about 1 hour and ten minutes.
It'll probably just be the first three episodes.
I think its good they're releasing it for the non-toy collectors (I'm of course talking about the First Battle whachamidoodad Prime/Megs 2-pack).

Anybody know about any extra material to be on said dvd? If not, I am thinking wait for a boxed set...or something.

Extra material or not, I'm a toy collecter and I get the Megs prime set.
What I'm wondering is will there be a box set. Armada was supposed to have two but I've never seen them in stores.

There will be a Season 1 boxset, but it will exclude Transform and Rollout.
I'll probably end up getting both this set and the Season 1 set. And I'll probably end up with a Megs/Prime 2-pack one too. But honestly, I think that 2-pack'll stay in box for me, so I'll actually need this dvd for the collection.

Well I got the box set and finished watching it. It wasn't that bad, but...from what I've seen of Season two it gets better.
