First off, I don't want any fights about anyone's political beliefs. Thank you in advance.

I was watching the news this morning, and they had the Decision 2008 Coverage on. It made me think...what if a Scientologist ran for president? Or any political leader post?

Would the Co$ let them run?

If so, would they be able to use the ‘Fair Game’ Policy against rival candidates?

And if they are to win, what do you think will happen?

I can see the headlines now 'Tom Cruise Runs For President' ....its actually a creepy thought. *Shivers* Closets would be in high demand...we would be forced into Scientology...other religions powerless to stop this epidemic ...makes me glad I'm canadian....but wait...the scientologists would try to run for prime minister here OO! *screams* Xx!!!

well no see that is why we have a representative government. how many people are actually in the Co$? how many people in th e US are not in the Co$? See a Sientologist would simply have insufficient support and as a candidate the media would try and find anything and everything that would make him/her look bad because its a good story. this includes all of Scientology's dirty laundry. So I think we are safe from a president Cruise.

i would die for christianity then convert to scientology. a government that tries to make this christian country convert would have a very very hard time doing so and not last long at all. xd
