This is a thread where you can post what terrain type you currently live in, and where you would bug out to on Z-Day.
I live in north GA which is suburbia / gently rolling hills and lots of sparse woods. Blazing hot in the summer, somewhat chilly in the winter. I'd either bug out north to canada, trying to get the Zeds off my tail and survive the winter, OR my personal preference, bug out westward and find a Mesa to live atop. with a rope bridge, and a small dedicated group, survival atop a mesa should be fairly easy. the problem will be water of course. Perhaps this could be circumvented with occasional raids to nearby towns?

I live in Sothern Arizona wich has small to medium sized cities and plenty of desert. I wouldn't bug out any where I know the terrain here and I got a well system and a 6" fence around 20 some odd ancers so I got plent of room to ranch and farm. Our back fields are in prep for alfalfa (thats the wrong spelling for it but it's just the hay for the animals) and we got 100 some odd animals for the ranching part (this includes cows, steers, chickens and goats)

Yeah sounds like you'd be nuts to bug out, you got a sweet deal going there on Z-Day, your main concern will be raiders though, you'll have to remain constantly vigilant.
Edit: Do you have any source of fresh water on the property? Preferably a natural spring?

so terrian around my house well suberuban lots of construction so leaving by car when the zombies come not a good idea due to traffic which will cause more trouble then its worth. weather is rainy which is good for me because, water speeds up decomposion of the body meaning that not only could this slow zombies down it could cause the zombies to fall apart easier. to bad theres the smell to deal with i do have a fence but locks are rarely used at our house and there are at least two count them two cemetarys that are really close to my house so yeah im in trouble dispite the fact that i don't live in the city which is practicly begging for zombie invasion. what i plan to do stay bugg out early in hopes to get where i going before there are to many zombies to bad either way i go I still have to pass the cemetary however there are some really huge trees here so maybe i can travel by tree till the zombies catch on where i plan to go maybe my freinds house they have decent security and all have taken some form of martial art including one that involve instructions on how to use a sword. hmm maybe if i live long enogh i can think of a few places for us all to go that is safer. maybe if im lucky i can head south to go live with whjd dout it though cause i not in the same state.

I live in mid/southern illinois, I'll probobly head down south with some friends, and people I think are neccesary, raiding s**t on our way. We'll go to the shawnee national forest and then build a fort I have in mind.
