Have you ever had someone completely ignore you for days, weeks, months on end?
Not that you were fighting or anything: Have nothing to say to one another, have better things to do, doing different things, etc.
And then suddenly, it feels as though they never leave you alone?
My mother tends to do this.
She got back from three weeks in Egypt on Saturday night. She didn't say a word to me until Monday evening.
She was bitching and complaining about the dishes and that they needed to be dried and put away, even though I had just put on a movie.
So, I'm rather angry with her and she tries to be all perky and happy with me.
I just smile and nod.
She talks about the dumbest s**t.
And now that I think about it...
Mike used to ignore me a lot when I first switched schools.
And now it feels like he's there 24/7, except for in class, since we don't have any classes together this semester.
When we went to the mall, he would completely freak if I didn't hold his hand, or if I wandered off to another store.
Now I know what my mother felt like when I had that separation problem when I was a little girl.
This ever happen to you?
