I am making this in regards to the many members of are guilds who have become victims of scammers, hackers and injustice

on my personal note I am pissed and disapointed with these a** holes picking off my members, these guys are worthless sacks of crap

but anyways tips:

1. a stranger PM's you don't PM back unless you actually had some form of communication with this person out side PM's

2. don't ever ever think your password will never get guessed you should atleast have you password changed once a month, this is so people can't just guess your password and keep guessing at it?(there is a hacker tool called a IP ninja which changes the users IP adress constantly)

3. no one should ever ask you your Password, Admin's don't need your password and Mod's know better then to ask, so don't give it out

4.if someone has a link heading outside the Gaia check properties first to see where the link is actually heading

5. if you are in Gaia Town and something is bugged up and I mean anything abnormal exit Gaia Town change your password and you should be ok

6. always report a scammer or hacker

7. don't get into a hackers or scammers face about what they are they don't care what you say but they do care about the data they can get off you so being a smart a** and saying anything of retaliation will just help them in the end

8. when reporting a scammer please for the love of God don't post a reply saying reported in the thread or any other hateful things. like I said hackers don't care what you have to say they only care for the data they can get off of you as well there next target, you posting in there threads is like sticking a bulls eye on you forehead

so please protect your account and if you have something that could help people protect there account post it

first DDR getting banned
then Gadget getting scammed
now Geoson has been banned
so please be careful guy follow the TOS , be careful of what threads you post and most of all be careful of those who PM you

I can't believe some ppl I just got one of those "Oh I've been hacked" pms from someone I don't even have on my friends list.



I mean really I haven't gotten one of these pms since I removed my mochi from my inventory.

But I mean really do you guys think that if you got hack that they would go that far as to change your avi's hair? I don't think so.

This whole hacking and scamming is just too much. When I had my mochi I would get all kinds of pms like;

"I'm leaving gaia but I would like to have a mochi before I go."
"I'll give you a rare monthly item for your mochi but I like to trade as gifts"

And I really like those ones where they say they are the admins and I'm about to get banned if I don't send them my info. Those are the best.

Warning I met a Hacker in towns! They threatened me and those who know me with hacking accounts! Now I was dumb and just got off towns without this persons screen name But I am warning the Guild and my other friends and I changed my password to a very loooooong one to be safe! YOU MIGHT WANT TO DO THE SAME!

Yeah dumb right well way back then I couldn't pm her so I posted on her profile that I don't believe that she was hack cuz of the whole changed hair thing.

well today I got a pm from that same person



Yeah I know really stupid right. But the thing is if she was trying to get her stuff back she would of changed the look of her avi by now but it still looks the same pink hair, pink sweater, yellow shirt, blue shorts.
