Soren returned on his own jetski after a moment. He grinned at Hector. "Yes, it's true. The love is there." The sarcasm was definitely there, which was a good thing. He tried so hard not to be creepy. He really did.

Kia took a minute to look in the water, "Oh what's that?" she said quietly looking through the water something shiny catching her eye. "Could be anything from a pop can to something someone is missing." She slid off the jet ski and looked at the object again. "Hah, here I go." Anfter treading water for a little she took a breath and started to dive down.

Lynne killed the engine to make sure she didn't accidentally run Kia over. She looked down into the water, trying to see where the girl went.

Pushing herself deeper she reached out starting to run out of breath. With one last breath she began to move back to the surface. Breaking the water she took a deep breath and tread water again. "One more try." she muttered to herself before taking another breath and diving down again. This time she was lucky enough to get a grip on some chain. Tugging the shiny links softly she released the object and broke surface again holding it up in front of her in the sunlight, "Who do you think would have lost this?"

Hector had killed his engine and was now sitting on one side of the seat, facing Kia. "I don't know... does it have anything on it, like a locket?"

"Sure does." said Kia moving the chain back and forth in the air a heart visible at the last link. She ran a thumb over the small curve of the heart looking at the small details. Dangling it out she motioned it up for hector to take so he could also inspect it.

Hector took the heart close to his eyes and slowly rotated it. "Initials... DG... and SG... a married couple, no doubt."

"Probably. I wonder how it even got out here. Either it was dropped or someone threw it." Diving back under the water only a little she came up on her back so she could float. "It's a mystery." she said laughing a little.
