I'm organizing this huge event for my school called "Cultural week", where during recess, lunch time, in-between classes and during some classes all the talented people in my school perform in theater, dance, music, etc, and those who do arts and crafts expose their work on the school's walls. So, today we had auditions. The second auditions, that have to go during 5 whole days.
First of all, I arrived at 9:45, and only our technician and a few bands were there. Nobody from the commitee! We've also been having problems and half of the commitee deserted the project because they were lazy, and those who still are there weren't there.
Then, the policemen at school wouldn't let us pass into the auditorium. Apparently the dumbasses at my school who don't give a damn about Cultural Week didn't tell them we would be coming. We had to fight with them until they'd call up and see. Once we got in, we were only 2 people from the commitee and the technician.
After a while, not only were we not complete, but the first band was late, and their guitarrist didn't come until two hours later. Dumbass. We passed the rest, and I was the only one giving them constructive criticism. Nobody in the commitee said anything else (I had to wake most of them by calling them at 10AM, time when we were all supposed to be there).
This girl called Gris, who deserted the commitee, said she would just stay to take care of the auditions. She contacted judges that supposedly knew a lot about music, but she didn't even appear (without telling us she wouldn't come!), basically didn't do anything, and her judges never came.
We were about an hour late, and all the bands were incomplete one way or another. This friend of mine, who I've had tensions with in the past, came to audition (late, but we were late so that didn't matter much), and I told her to wait. She told me she had nothing prepared for any of her two projects: for one, she had to sing with Rob, a friend of ours, but they hadn't prepared anything, and for the other she was singing with a friend of hers that had gone away for the weekend.
So it was like 2:30pm, she had arrived about 40 min before (and going away for a while to have lunch), and we had to pass 3 more people. We were supposed to finish by 2pm MAX. So I talked to Rob and he told me it would be better if they passed another day. I accepted and then told Paula that she would pass in a recess.
Then, the b***h went crazy. "You made me lose an hour of my life! What a disgrace! How could you?" And she started yelling like mad. An hour of your life? Are you kidding me? I wasted 5 hours of my life today in that. Plus, she's the person who I know that wastes the most time possible. She passes her time only smoking pot and sleeping in parks or walking without having anywhere to go. "I had to walk 15 minutes from my house with my guitar in the sun! I hate you guys and Cultural week, you suck at organizing!" Plus, who does she think she is to have a diva attitude? I have 80 projects, I don't care if she's in or not, and she's not one of the best at all. Dumbass.
So, while I was fighting with her, this other guy was passing. After a while, he asked if anyone was listening to him, if there were any judges, and a lazy b***h from the commitee just pointed to me instead of taking command of what she should be doing (judging as well). He got annoyed, and then another dumb girl from the commitee started playing with the equalizer and did some weird sound that scared him. He got pissed, shouted "********!", and strudded out.
In the end we finished with those that were left, and we were all pissed. And I have 3 more days to do these auditions. I want Cultural Week to be awesome. I'm just so sad and disappointed. HALP? ;-; (suggestions?)
