i've got yet another interview this coming week. there's an open r.a. position in one of the halls, so i applied. dunno if i'll get it because it's a boys' hall, but i'm still hopeful. it would be really great if i got it because that's about $1300 to save for london instead of paying for my dorm the rest of the year.

just had my interview. i think it went all right, but you never know. it did irk me that when i mentioned the possibility of going to london next spring, the guy giving the interview (my leadership instructor) was acting as if i had never brought it up before. but i told him a few weeks ago and asked if i should still apply for the job. supposedly, it won't make a difference if they want to hire me, but it "should affect my decision to take the position or not." well, i'll know by the 24th...

today we had the group process. i really wasn't looking forward to it at all but i actually had a good time. i liked the people in my group and the first activity was a really good ice breaker. we had to cross a "swamp" (10 feet between two ropes laid out on the grass) but the only person who could touch the swamp was the one with the magic hat. everyone had to wear the hat once, and only one person had to wear it twice. sounds relatively simple? no! we couldn't get it. turns out, it was simply because the two guys in our group weren't strong enough to carry two of us across at once! we tried some interesting things though... whee
