"Monster? ...." Dominic sighed sadly and watched as the rabble gathered around Loran and Seakas. He thought of me as a monster? Do they all think of me as a monster too? Dominic thought as he watched the others cooing and laughing at the little child, slowly he moved towards the door, but went to lean against the wall off to one side of it. Out of view of those in the next room but close enough to overhear what was being said, not that he was paying much attention, his mind distracted by thoughts of Loran and Rasalas. He was pretty certain he'd be happiest by Lorans side, but he was also certain that he didn't want to live out his days in a place like Rasalas. In truth most O's wouldn't have even considered living in a place like this, on the out skirts of civilisation, in a barely hospitable environment, they would have considered it a nightmare situation. Dominic only considered it at all for the sake of his love for Loran. Sighing he let his knees buckle and his back slowly slid down along the wall until he was sat on his haunches, his chin resting on arms lying across his knees as he tried to think of some way to have the best of both worlds.

Meanwhile, little Seakas, unaccustomed to all the attention and noise started fidgeting uncomfortably in the strangers hold and suddenly started wailing and crying, one little arm waving blindly in an effort to find something comforting or reassuring to hold on to.
