I just had one today...
You know you're addicted to pokemon when you want to toss a pokeball at someone just to shut them up.

when you sleep next to a fake pokeball, thinking that your Pokemon is using 'rest' inside it.

You know you're addicted to Pokemon when you willfully delete your file just to perform a Soft Reset Method to acquire a Shiny Starter.

just thought of this,
you know when your addicted when you can sit there and rattle off the hoenn pokedex by the calls of the pokemon, not even seeing anything.

You know your addicted when you see a owl and almost mistaken it as Noctowl.
