I have a million things I want/need to tweak in this thing, but I'm about to be photoshopless for the weekend and figured the lull will be a good time to get some advice in so I can dive in afresh and fix the damn thing. the dragon and his armor and clothes especially need finishing. I concentrated mostly on the face so far, you can probably tell where. I've been experimenting with some effects that I'm not totally happy with and may redo anyway so yeah. Aww, Errol and his giant nostrils. I eventually want to bring the whole thing up to an even amount of refinement, if I can stand it.
I'm such a tool. Not only am I drawing Sam Vimes, I made my avatar look like him lololol. Terry Pratchett ftw.

I knew this was you before I even saw your name. DISCWORLD said it all.
Is the fellow supposed to be looking in two different directions with his eyes? Like, is one of them dead or something?

I want to put some nice constructive criticism but the epic proportion of those dragon nostrils are mesmerizing.

The dragon's nostrils is the author's doing (Terry Pratchett) XDDD blame him. I just need to tweak until I get their proportions right XDDD
Yeah, the eyes still are funky to me too, I'll be sure to tweak that XD lol. Poor Vimes, I gave him a lazy eye XD

I've seen that dragon before, and i know it's supposed to look like that but ... damn.
In real crit - I think that his whole shoulder span is squished. It looks to me like his whole trunk is compressed.

Dr. Valentine I've seen that dragon before, and i know it's supposed to look like that but ... damn. In real crit - I think that his whole shoulder span is squished. It looks to me like his whole trunk is compressed. His shoulder is supposed to be facing the camera more in theory, like his head is turned and his shoulders are twisted, but I think what's really killing the effect right now, I realize, is that the buckle isn't quite drawn in the correct perspective. I'll fiddle and try to see about fixing that and anything else to clear that up. ):< I totally didn't notice until you pointed it out.

It could certainly be the buckle throwing me off.

I might add in more cape fabric too, if it'll help. Will post an updated WIP once I have time to make these corrections XD

I don't know much about the characters, but i think the perfect O shape of the dragon's nostrils makes the drawing a little less convincing.
Unless they're supposed to be supper round, try giving them a more natural shape (like horse nostrils maybe?)
wow. colors. i really like his skin.
