Emeriss descended upon the warm arena. As she landed about close to starting position in the ring she looked around the empty stands. It seemed pretty quiet and empty, which was rather strange for the middle of the day. "Hmm... An empty sports arena is sort of depressing. We'll just have to wake it up." Emeriss was suddenly engulfed in flapping bats as they swarmed and circled around her. Once the bats cleared, Emeriss' violet victorian dress was replaced with more form fitting combat ready attire, though rather skimpy and unprotected at the same time. She folded her wings around her waist and waited paitently. A bright red circle with pentacle and demonic runes formed at the opposing starting position.
From that circle emerged a cloaked figure with a faceless designed mask, and a pair of punch blades. It looked around the arena, then spotted Emeriss taunting it, beckoning it to attack.

Lilith emerged from the ground to spot two people standing in the middle of the arena. 'Well well well, it looks as if people have come to join me while I practice.' She grinned and ran/danced her way down the stairs to the arena floor and then stopped. Slowly she pulled out her Katana from the sheath and held it in front of her body positioned to fight. Suddenly from the ground, corpses began to emerge clawing their way out of the dirt all around the two figures. "Well, are you guys ready to fight?"

Emeriss was a bit less than content to kicking around the short gimpy demon she had summoned. After a fairly short struggle she wound up just kicking and stomping it around while it lay on the ground. Barely noticing a crackling of earth and spotting a figure making their way down the stairs out of the corner of her eye, she didn't take her focus off the twitching thing on the ground beneath her foot.
Seeing hands reaching out of the ground got her attention. She stepped off the creature, letting it stand up as countless undead bodies rose from the ground around her. "Well Twiggy," she sighed looking down at the cloaked demon and returning its gaze, "looks like things are picking up." Bringing her hands to about shoulder level, Emeriss began to generate a little bit of fire over her palms.
The squatty demon spat something in infernal before taking a defensive position back to back with its summoner.

Lilith smiled as the other two figures prepared to fight her. 'This should be over fast... and then I can go attack widespread once I get my necromancy skills back up to date.' Most of the zombies (as she liked to call them) had now made their way out of the ground and were standing there looking dumbly at each other. 'Well I guess this is what you get when you awaken the dead' She sighed and shifted so she was standing with her back straighter and yelled at them "Don't just stand there you imbeciles! Attack them!" Suddenly they all locked their focus on the two people in the arena and began moving towards them. Lilith put her face in on of her hands and shook her head in disappointment. 'Back in the good ol' days I could raise an entire army and slaughter a whole town in seconds. This is just sad.'

Emeriss glanced over toward the edge of the arena, hearing a voice yelling out an attack order to the zombies just before they began to close around her. "Curious, I wonder if they still have any remnants of their souls within them?" She shook her head, dismissing her previous comment. Nevermind, one step at a time. Oh well... Putting her hands together and combining the flames she had conjured, Emeriss unleashed a ray of hellfire, punching a line through the swarm of zombies in front of her.
The cloaked demon jumped up, pouncing on one zombie and tearing into its face with a few punches. It wasn't interested in listening to orders or strategy at the moment, it seemed particularly thrilled to be ripping into a face with its punch axes.

Lilith watched, slightly amused. 'So it's fire elementals then. Well this should be very interesting while I test my strength against one...' She watched with delight (yes, she is mentally ill) as all the dead began turning to ashes littering the ground of the arena. Normal people, at this point would be running for their lives as their army began getting destroyed, but not Lilith. Seeing this as an opportunity, she ran towards the cloaked person with her Katana in position to swing.

Emeriss hovered and began to drift forward, clearing up zombies with fireballs as she followed the line she drew with her previous attack. As she ascended she heard hastened footsteps below. It was a bit odd to think of a running zombie, and seeing who it was as they raced toward her lacky, they were clearly not undead. "Twiggy," She called sweetly to her minion, "you have company."
The cloaked thing repeated its process of pouncing on then punching and flaying zombies one after another but was becoming increasingly dissatisfied as it did so. It muttered a comment in infernal language to itself before hearing running, then its consort calling something out to it. It glanced back at her then to the person charging up to it. It had little time to react after having been previously oblivious.

Lilith continued running at the cloaked figure while at the same time thinking. 'Twiggy? What a lousy name to give your child.' Still, she was within swinging distance now, so with all the strength her arms would provide, she swung the Katana, still running past the person named 'Twiggy', and hoping she made contact. The sword was extremely sharp being brand new and all, so it could have hit him or not and she wouldn't be able to tell the difference unless it was a really deep wound that went through bones. Steering from this train of thought, she then began towards the fire girl. A few yards away she stopped and yelled at her. "I really wish you would stop burning up all my zombies. You can't exactly make them all that quickly, considering you have to slaughter people to do it." She then cocked her head to the side as a thought floated through her mind. Suddenly out of the ground, long strands of French Lavender began to shoot out, grabbing the fire girls feet pulling her towards the ground to hold her there. Lilith smiled, quite happy with herself for remembering there were such things as fire proof plants.

'Twiggy' took a step back after being struck. There was a tremendous cut through its cloak. After a brief second to pat the hole in its cloak, it discovered a cut across its belly, not particularly deep but enough to bleed. It tore off the cloak and mask, throwing them down in a fit. Beneath the cloak lied a short creature of gaunt little arms and legs, a large round belly, Long bony hands and claw like fingers, and a stubby receeding head with piercing red eyes and exposed rows of short pointy teeth. It turned and snarled viciously at its assailant.
Emeriss struggled somewhat ineffectively against being pulled to the ground looking over at the apparent necromancer as she descended, "Oh please, what's a few hundred human lives to a necromancer? It's not like raw materials are that difficult to come by." Just before landing Emeriss unleashed an expanding ring of fire to clear out any nearby zombies remaining before continuing to struggle with the strands of lavender.

Lilith turned to look at the little snarling creature for a moment. 'Ewwww...' Quickly she turned back to the fire girl to continue their little talk. "You're right. I don't care too much for human lives but it still takes time and effort to kill them all." She watched as the girl let loose a ring of fire, "killing" any last zombies that were left. 'Well you all served your purposes, you may return back to your ghostly forms.' A slight breeze lifted the ash from the bones and sent it tumbling through the air. She let out a small sigh, now bored with this whole fiasco and put her Katana back into it's sheath. She then turned and began walking away from the two figures. "Have fun with that lavender!" She yelled before disappearing into the soil, searching for yet another victim for her madness.

Emeriss extended her right hand letting her nails elongate and sharpen becoming claw-like. With two quick swipes she cut herself free of the lavender. "Aw, you're no fun.", she pouted, watching the necromancer leave. She sighed and scratched her head with her temporary claw hand before looking over to her minion. It seemed rather irate and disappointed as it turned and walked toward a forming circle on the ground. "Aw Twiggy, you're leaving me too?"
'Twiggy barked back something in infernal much to the effect of "My name is NOT Twiggy!" and a few frustrated profanities before stepping into the circle and vanishing with it in a flash of fire.
"Well shoot." She sighed. She rested her hands on her hips and looked around the once again empty arena.

Emeriss took a moment to let the quiet sink in before sighing again. "Well, I guess I can kill some time in the merchant quarter or something. What a downer." Slowly, she began walking toward the arena exit. Bats emerging seemingly from nowhere swarmed around her once again clearing and revealing her to have returned to wearing her dress for the day. She left the arena gates and rounded the corner heading back into town.
