Since we're done with the evaluations (kind of), our teacher/conductor/WHATEVER gave us a new piece to practice. It's an Orchestral version of "Evil Ways" by George Santana. I'm not sure if you know this, but the song is described as Latin rock (which is odd, seeing as it's sung entirely in English D< ). So, what we're playing is Orchestral Latin rock? Okay, I'm not against it, but I thought we were done with playing songs that were originally not orchestral. After "White Christmas," I just wanted to play actual Orchestra music. The song (Evil Ways) is fun and all, but dammit, I wanted to learn how to play classical music D<
SO YEAH. Wha'chu playin?
