Forgive me, i couldn't think of a deeper or more meaningful way to basically say ''Please come into this thread, I've got a blessing to share and a message for all of you.''

Well, I don't know how long this is going to get, but I'll try to keep the story short. Although, the detailed version will explain a lot, as they always do.

Well, here it goes:

If you've ever been raised in a really Southern Baptist home or just around a bunch of ''really Christian Folk'', you may have heard someone or somewhere just how dangerous or serious stuff that Magic is.

Some of you may not even believe in it or brush off the distaste that adults have showed for the subject in your life.

Here's a message to you both: Why would God warn us against something that isn't real?

Alright..

The Story:

So I have these two female friends. Tiff and Clover. Tiff introduced me to her best friend Clover and the three of us have been pretty cool since we'd all gotten together for the first time.

I'm an observant person, and can pick up on a person pretty well by their actions, the way they talk, attitude, ect. So I get from this girl: A bit tedious, and sensative. But she enjoys trying anything new and having a good time. Very good listener and very watchful of people (she's even had me run for my money when observing her). Ahem.

So, we are in the bookstore, she reveals that you know, her biggest issue. Her ex-boyfriend shot himself dead in front of her. Very serious stuff.

And she is looking through a Dream Book, wondering why she is seeing his corpse in the middle of a path standing.

And they start to see the Oiji boards and Tarot cards. And Clover says something that leaves me breathless and even fearful: ''I want to use those to see if I can get any answers from my ex. I wonder if he really said what I thought he did before he died..?''

It took me some self-control not to jump at her. Not attack her, but I've always been known to be protective. The Mother Hen on a girl's night out.

I didn't know what to say, other than trying ot brush up with ''you're dealing with black magic in that area, and the oiji board is the portal. you may just get a lot more than you can handle or had bargained for..''

I felt like the typical Hard christian, but this really scared me for her. And I had a hard time thinking of what much else to say. But I add'' Besides, there are other ways of dealing with this trouble of yours.''

When she asks ''Like what?'' I let it hang there, seeing she wasn't really absorbing it anyway, like something was trying to keep her from listening to me, and I was walking a line here. almost like trying to pull someone from a thin beam.

I leave the night early, head home and try to tune out the anger, the passion the fear: I blare music, start singing, do chores feverishly. Finally seeing that I was alone in the house (husband being with a friend that night as well) I fell to me knees and surrendered my will and my time to God. I even sang, logically not sure what to say, feeling this deeply about it.

But time passes, and I feel like my third eye has been opened. And I kid you not guys, a circle of reflective angels were around my bed within ten minutes time.

I storm downstairs looking for the Bible, scaring my husband with this focused look in my eyes. But I won't talk, not yet. feeling like God was trying to keep my mind on one train of the thoughtfulness.

I grab the Bible and I do it....yes, I played Bible Shuffle. I open it up, this awesome Bible of complete translation and informative side-texts with history and translation notes scattered all throughout. The Psalm I open up to, served kind of relavent but I was lost.

I look up to the ceiling ''alright, what does this mean??'' and I look back down....side-note, refers me to a different part in the Bible, pertaining to the story of Moses, the Pharoh, and the Staffs. (found in Genesis?.)

So the staff, he cast it down it turned into a Snake. Al lthe King's magicians and wizard did the same thing. but Moses's snake ate the their snakes (score 1 of many ''Boo-Yas'' for God, can I get an Amen?).

So, that and I find a detailed history of magic and sorcery in that book and the next step: Take it to Clover.

That night I get no sleep, but somehow make it really well through the next work day. And i had to be brave and text Clover asking her to meet with me.

And to tell her of the vision I had in a dream: Her falling through the air in an oversized library and grabs a basket where within there are one of two things for her: Either a snake that is poisonous or a scroll that looks like a snake, within written with knowledge. God was reaching out to her, but I could not tell which one she grabs.

So, I tell her, not sure of her stance of Christianity.

turns out, she is big on visions and is welcoming the meeting and me telling her about it. So, we meet up at Starbucks, I tell her. She's not big on going to church, but believe in God.

It's a start, and really don't think one needs to attend church anyway to show the faith. god can hear you from home, afterall.

So I later introduce the idea of maybe a private girl's bible study. She agrees, and agrees to watch for methaphorical snakes.

I tell her God is reaching out for her and is on His Way to help her with her problems. All she needs to do is make the choice.

So, everyone, the moral is when God's tickling at your ear to listen, push all earthly things to do so. It doesn't take long and though I had no sleep, I had the energy and spirit to go on. God didn't leave me weary as I stayed up with the vision and thought over it.

Peace, and thank you for listening.

For Me, Crinis as one, standing for God and saying ''He has worked in my life and is always over me. And He'll reach for you too when you're in need.

Once you pray, the cogs are already in motion...''
