Makkai Asylum resided on the outskirts of the city. The hospital was home to the mentally ill, drug addicts, and the criminally insane. The hospital was made of two building: the first for the regular patients, the second for the extremely dangerous ones. High, iron gates surrounded the asylum. Several signs reading "Danger- High Voltage" hung from the gates to warn those who dared approach whether it was from breaking in or breaking out.
