From the ashes of the now-defunct Merchant Square and popular demand rises Quest Centre v.1.0, for all your Hyte Planning desires.
This programme is easily accessible from any HyTech network console - and do watch out for the Ginmei Plushie Paradise <3 Easter Egg.
. Centre Basics .
♠ Any member of the guild [and anyone may apply for membership] may set up threads to plan out custom Hytes [and/or Bytes if interested]
♠ Please begin the title of your thread with [your name] for easy identification
♠ The level of detail you want to include in your planning is entirely up to you - you may also discuss an animal without a character in mind, or you may discuss a character and contemplate animals to match, et al.
♠ If you would like your planned Hyte to be considered an open application for RL$ Customs, do indicate 'RL$ Custom Application' in a noticeable location [see explanation below] - there must be a sufficient amount of detail on this planned character to be officially considered an open application
♠ You may maintain Quest threads/plan Hytes for other people if you have their permission or if you are intending to gift the person
♠ HyTech currently has no 1-animal-1-Hyte restriction, so you may plan for a Hyte based on an animal that has already been made into a Hyte or that is also being planned by another person - although we would greatly prefer a unique Quest unless it is deliberately planned so by the same owner or with permission
[To clarify - we are especially hoping for visual differences - therefore, we would actually prefer different colours of the same animal to two breeds that are technically different but look very similar including colour]
♠ Personality keywords, utilised by the shop to distill the essence of a sale Hyte's visual character into the simplest definition for easy customer reference, are not neccessary for Quests at all, as character descriptions are happily taken - if you so prefer to use a Keyword in place of/in addition to a description, do note that we have no set policies against Keyword duplication
♠ IMPORTANT: We will be taking it on the honour system that there is no deliberate ripping off another Hyte/planned character. However, if there are blatant signs of such intent, that particular application/planning will simply be disregarded
♠ On a tangentially related note, please be assured that HyTech will not steal your quest ideas to release as Gaian-production Hytes - we may be notoriously closefisted with hints, but our release schedule has been privately detailed far into the future because we have no lives

♠ DO NOTE that as HyTech does not currently have plans for any Customs events or Gaian-currency Customs, these threads will not affect normal Hyte production in any way - there is no Gaian Hyte-production advantage to be gained
♠ HOWEVER if the character is marked with an 'RL$ Custom Application' tag, it will be considered an open application for RL$ Customs, and you may be contacted [no commitment necessary at this stage] if there is an informal RL$ Custom slot open if your character fits our immediate requirements [e.g. Stages, Complexity, Gender] - as RL$ Customs slots are likely to be sporadic, this may be helpful for an RL$ Custom applicant
