Well BYOB is what got me to be a System fan. I had heard other songs by them, but didn't know it was System of a Down. After I heard BYOB, I thought it was an amazing song and I researched on the band. Now I'm a pretty crazy-obsessed fan. I'm glad everyone knows BYOB, why should System's music not be known?

Ha even that im way younger than you i liked soad since toxicity and i saw BYOB rise as a single before anyone except soad fans of course knew that it would be ahit

I had always liked Toxicity, but did not know much about the band. Hell, I didn't even develop my own music taste until 6th grade, and even then it was only radio played stuff.
I do not think I am any more or less of a fan than you are just because you've known of them/liked them longer. But people who buy the hat just because they know it's the name of a popular band are not true fans.

Honestly, I hardly knew System until Hypnotized, then I realized my dad had toxicity, and some of my friends were already into it.

laurgasm ugh i HATE people like that. even if they only hear one song, all of a sudden theyre a bigg fan. its like "WTF?!"
