Suzuko is a girl who stands at the hight of 5'3 and it normally rater proud about her height. Her air is an incredibly dark shade of brown, and is easily mistaken for black. Suzuko's hair is normally tied up with a hair tie but when its down it goes down to her waist. Even when her hair is up a bit of loose hair tends to fall down into her face.
Suzuko has thin brown eye brows and holds the Japanese facial features however her skin tone is a bit different then the Japanese. She had a bit of a darker tone with a small olive light tint to it.
She normally wears a white black trimmed scarf along with a black zip up hoodie. She also wears a pair of blue flared jeans. Suzuko also carries around a fairly large black and white messenger bag. On her hear she normally wears a black hat, it is used to keep the sun out of her eyes. However this is her casual clothing. Back at home she normally wears the traditional Shine uniform. Her hair is normally tied back with a white ribbon. Her top had long sleeved and appears to have a small crossing around the chest. The bottom is always tucked neatly into her long legged red pants. The parts are like a tomato red and are very open and lose. One can mistaken them for a long skirt when looking at a distance.
Even when wearing her casual clothing she normally brings her shrine uniform in her bag.
Personality:
Suzuko is not one who can easily be angered, most of the time she is calm and very collective. She has a large amount of patience up until a certain point. When someone can make her angry she will flip out and literally attack them. Of course these out burst are rare, she normally tries to avoid getting irritated. These anger issues occur more when she is around people she doesn't like or doesn't know. When in the major cities she is normally jittery and uneasily. In those kinds of surroundings she can be very distrusting.
Up at home she is normally more energetic and appears much happier. Not only at hope but normally in more natural surroundings. Suzuko may be a calm person but because she does have those rare burst of anger she has made a few enemy's. She is one who tries to avoid confrontation and because of it she creates clever avoidance plans. Some find her rather strange because of this. Others just think its because she is scared.
Personal History:
Born in a small town called Ichinan, Suzuko was born into a family that ran a small shrine. Her home is located up in the mountains in southern west part of Honshu. She pretty much surrounded by forest and farm land. She is actually at the base of a large mountain Daikiyama.
Ever sense she was born she was expected to help the family run the shrine and all of its services.
Her mother was from American which is where her American heritage came from. Her father was a native in Japan. Al Suzuko really knows is that these two met and fell in love almost instantly. She still didn't know all of the details about her parents. For some reason they liked to keep it from her.
Suzuko Was taught English ever since she was born and was taught Japanese as well. However there is still quite a few things she does not know. Her writing skills in English are horrid and she tends to avoid English in general. However she is easily aware of when it is necessary to speak it. Because she lives in a small town she normally doesn't have to deal with it unless a tourist comes to see the shrine.
Even though her home is surrounded by mountain and trees she still has to get out of her way to go to school. She travels a lot just to attend her High school. Travel doesn't seem to bother her to much. In fact it is one of her favorite parts of the day. She normally walks about a mile before reaching the train station that brings her into the city. Suzuko has had quite a few unpleasant experiences in the city which causes her to dislike them. Running into unhappy high schoolers was one of her issues and she actually snapped on a few of them. She avoids confrontation most of the time and usually gets off a few stops away from her own school. Taking the longer way there.
Regardless to the unhappy campers at the school she has made a few friends. However most of them are teachers. She is normally a hard worker when it comes to her studies. She holds her highest respect for her teachers and sometimes that can give her special privilages. But like her anger her advantages in school tends to lead her into trouble sometimes.
She does not think much of the other students and tends to turn her back toward them. Her path normally follows with the school staff for then the student body. Her academic life is much different then her normal one at home. Back at the shrine she is normally happy and cheerful. Cleaning and watching over other people on its grounds always tends to cheer her up.
However she does like to spend a lot of time away from the shrine. Whenever she can manage to get the free time Suzuko heads off toward the old woods not to far from her home. It is just so she can relax and get away from the stress of her normal life.
During one of these little run aways she had run across something that caught her eye. It was a strange golden orb that was no larger then a marble. When she first found it she thought nothing of it. Recently she has been carrying it around almost as if its a good luck charm.

Nature, books, quite, and being around her home
Dislikes:
Loud noises, easily angered people, the city, crowded areas and being in small places.
Fears:
Losing her temper, losing her family, failing in school, confronting enemy students, losing all of her spare time and getting separated for the woods she lives by.

Air-
Suzuko's attitudes tends to change depending on her surroundings. Cities and most heavily populated areas she tends to avoid. When stuck in these areas she tends to be uneasy or just very un-talkative. Doesn't tend to interact with others and can be very paranoid. When at home or surrounded by nothing but natural surroundings her quiet behavior changes to a more happy and semi-talkative state.
Water-
In cities she can be on edge or to herself. In some cases her paranoid state doesn't linger around her. It is only when she knows the people she is avoiding are out of the area. However when confronted with those she does not like or those who irritate her, her more angry side does occasionally show. When angered she will yell shout scream and actually hit a person. However this is something that rarely comes out.
Mind-
When avoiding those whom she does not like or feel comfortable with she has to think quickly in order to make sure they are not where she is heading. using caution she makes sure her next step is a wise one. Also in order to have good relations with the Staff in school she has to hastily make plans to help more out at school. Her time is short so time to dilly-dally is not there for her.

Pukka Explanation
The golden orb
Found out in the woods not too far from Suzuko's home she had found this odd orb. It is about the size of a marble and is rather easy to carry around. However for whatever reason Suzuko carries it around in a small wooden box. She treasures the thing due to how rare it looks. It is not only a shiny gold but it has a few strange black markings swirling around on it. Even though black to her is normally an ominous sign she actually let her fascination get the better of her. She never lets anyone near it or allow anyone to dare look at it.

Shishi (or Jishi) is translated as "lion" but it can also refer to a deer or dog with magical properties and the power to repel evil spirits. A pair of shishi traditionally stand guard outside the gates of Japanese Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples, although temples are more often guarded by two Nio Protectors. The Shishi (like the Nio) are traditionally depicted in pairs, one with mouth open and one with mouth closed. The open/closed mouth relates to Ah and Un. "Ah" (open mouth) is the first letter in the Sanskrit syllabary, while "Un" (closed mouth) is the last letter. The same holds true for the Japanese syllabary. The combination is said to symbolically represent birth and death or to represent the universe and all within it. Others say the open mouth is to scare off demons, and the closed mouth to shelter and keep in the good spirits. The circular object beneath their feet is the Tama, or sacred Buddhist jewel, a symbol of Buddhist wisdom that brings light to darkness and holds the power to grant wishes.

Reasoning for choosing this creature
Suzuko is normally someone who looks out for herself and goes to extremes to keep i that way. The change will change her views on others and make her learn to help others more then help her self. Also her experience with legends of the creatures relating to her religion may help her go through this sudden change of hers.
