when things go wrong, people are to blame,
and when things go great, it's because of God?
confused
I do.
I failed pre-calculus twice already.
I thought I was failing again and I was really stressed out.
My step-father told me I had to study more.
That practice makes perfect.
I passed.
When my mom and him found out, they said it was a miracle from God.
No... It can't have nothing to do with me spending an extra hour in tutoring.

What does God have to do about passing a class ?I wrote a hero myth for my mythology class and thought the professor wouldn't like it but the next day my professor told me that its a nice story and gave me my paper and gave it an A I was surprised

your taking it to literal, you should know by know that in our culture (puertorican) god gets all the credit for EVERYTHING hasta las csas malas, i mean, even the bad things.
i dont think it's meant as something literal, just something thats part of our language.
'sides, it easier to say, thank god than go like, into specifics, lol.

But my mom actually told me it was because she had prayed and how god works in mysterious ways.

We do use gods name when we get mad like god dammit like were damming God when it's our fault we mess up.
