Here is where we can talk as a group about our fav. anime series or movies new and coming or Old! No bad mouthin people for their choices in anime, but opinions are nice. Just because someone disagrees with you, don't take it to heart k? (any type even includes the pervy stuff lol. )
Do you prefer Dubbed or subbed? (good starter question right?)
Enjoy!

Subbed is really the only way to go, if only because good American voice actors are....a rare commodity at best. It does require more effort on the part of the watcher, though, having to both watch and read at the same time.
That being said, I just saw Paprika earlier today. It's a real crazy mind trip, granted, but it's damn beautiful. Anyone who hasn't seen this movie desperately needs to. Now. No, really. Right now. Stop lurking on Gaia and go watch it.

I'd have to agree, the subbed version really is better. I feel that the voices are more fit for the characters than what the dubbed versions do. Also that yes the dubbed versions do tend to cut out a good amount of the show.
Paprika never heard of it, care to fill me in on it a little?

It's the newest movie from Satoshi Kon, who is a wonderful director and if you don't know who he is, just google him. The movie itself actually played in theatres in the US for a bit, although not in the mainstream.
Anyway, basically this genius invents a machine that allows people to enter each others' dreams, which is really fun and can also help people with mental problems, in a fashion. Then someone steals one of the machines and uses it as a "terrorist" by trapping people in their own or other peoples' dreams, which can even be deadly. Eventually the line between reality and dream is so distorted that they start to fuse together, and all hell breaks loose.
It's really beautiful art-wise, and the story is pretty good. Of course, given the subject matter, this anime will mess with your mind like no tomorrow. But it's still good.
