Remembering the day before, the trip of peril to the Distribution office, he thinks to himself how dangerous actual training may be. This thought is a pleasing one, surprisingly.
The training is rough, excruciating exercises focused on mobility and speed are performed for the first half of the day. The second half consists of strength and then a classroom meeting where the trainees are informed that for the first month the exercises will continue along with Procedural Knowledge Courses. After this month is over these courses are replaced with Weapons and Tactical Overview, during which the exercises are increased in difficulty, harder courses to go through as well as heavy gear and weights to wear. When the WTO is completed there are assessment tests, then the latter part of the day will be concentrated on using the acquired knowledge and physique in live training drills. These drills last for another month, untill actual missions are given, and new housing is prepared outside of the compound.
Looking at this schedule Turen gets a bit overwhelmed, but quickly banishes the feeling, knowing it is for the best that he is to be trained so harshly.
