-Gabrielle hit herself on the head muttering "Why me? Why Joxer?". She threw a wineskin at Joxer, barking at him to go get water to stop the bleeding. And simply to get him out of her hair. He yelled ow and whined a little bit before Gabrielle stared at him so coldly, that he shut up and left without another word. Once gone, Gabby tried to take deep breaths to calm herself down, while saying reassuring words to herself. "Try to be open to love, Gabrielle. Not hate. Not even towards.." but she stopped short when she heard a distant groaning. She looked over to see the guard faintly slipping in and out of consciousness. He was still alive? Gabby scooted over towards him, and grabbed a dagger out of his pocket, and held it up against his neck threateningly. Never having to do the questioning by herself, Gabrielle stumbled over what to say to him.
"Uh, Hey. If you don't start talking, I'll slit your throat."
Soldier: "Wha-?"
-He tried to sit up, but he was too weak, and Gabrielle just pushed him down anyway.-
"Talk! Or else!" Gabrielle insisted.
Soldier: "Ok, ok. About what?"
Gabs: "Well, who sent you for starters."
Soldier: "That's kinda obvious. Xena the warlord, of course! Who else after you've been following her around all day?"
Gabs: "True.. But why? Doesn't she remember me?"
Soldier: "Why? You her ex-girl friend or somethin?"
-The guard laughed, but Gabby pushed the dagger harder, making him choke and stop his chuckling.-
Gabs: "That's none of your business, bucko. Where is Xena heading next?"
Soldier: "Uhh.. She was saying something about unfinished business somewhere. Amphipolis! Yeah, that's it."
"Amphipolis..?" Gabrielle repeated to herself. She looked back down at the guard, and said "Thanks." before knocking him out cold with her fist.

-After scavenging for anything useful on the unconscious guard, and packing up the little they had left. Meaning their bedrolls, Gabrielle was almost ready to leave. She looked down at her sloppily bound leg, and hoped for the best as Joxer returned with a cocky greeting. Gabby limps over to Joxer with an annoyed and tired smile, and grabs his nose in between two knuckles.-
Good. Now let's go.
-She let's go of her grip, and heads out towards the vast rolling hills without looking back.-
(Is that it? I forgot what that thread was called exactly. Anyway, since I'm already OOCing, I might as well tell you guys -meaning Az- that I'll be gone for a week again. I might log on a couple times, but don't be surprised if I don't.)

Xena sat on her throne, still taking in the joy of battle. A man approached her tent. Just before he requested to enter, the man was greeted with a dagger slicing through the tent to split his ear.
The dark warrior woman cackled behind the curtained wall. "Come in."
The soldier, holding back his pain, walked into the tent. Trying to stay as calm as possible, he opened the bag on his shoulder. Inside was a ridiculously bulky looking sword, two unsharpened sais, and a collection of scrolls.
"If you're trying to shower me with gifts, I am going to need to give you a lesson in taste."
The man froze in place. His mouth moved ever so slightly to try and form words to reply. "Th-these are fr-rom the t-t-two p-people you had us follow. The b-blonde girl and th-the tall sc-scrawny man."
Xena walked up to the frightened soldier with a sinister smile cutting across her face. She reached out her hand as the man prepared his final breaths. Casually, she took out a few scrolls and looked at the man mockingly. "Boo."
The man jumped back as Xena laughed at his foolishness. She excused him to help the men pack. The Warrior Princess exited her tent and entered a heavily guarded carriage. She pulled out one of the scrolls to entertain her on the fated dull voyage to Amphipolis.
