I was thinking: even though we've all broken up since this, at one point, we had 5 guard-drumline couples, myself included.
Discuss: is this just my band, or has it happened in yours, too?

Hhhmm... it wasn't necessarily the drumline, but we had alot of our guard dating band members in general. That, and the drill team girls (do I count, though I'm both in drill and the xylophone player?) were usually dating band guys. So no, i don't think it's just your school 3nodding

i'm in love with a baritone(sp) boy in the hl. so it happens in my school. well iguss that might be part of the fact my section leaders said that we had to mingle with the ppl in hl and dl and pit that or we could run bleachs for an hour or some other form of "physical conditioning"

At least half of my guard has dated or crushed on at least half of the drumline...and vice versa. It's probably cause drumline and guard are usually separated from the rest of the band so they usually make more connections with each other. At least, that's the case in my band.

At my old school we almost always had a guard/percussion relationship and we never didn't have one for more than a week. But at my new high school the guard and the percussion hate each other we've had only one guard/percussion relationship in two years. But we do have a lot of band/guard.

All we have is two pitxcg relationships. Well, the one doesn't really count because he's just acting in the colorguard but still. Otherwise, we basically hate one another.

Yea. In our band, the flutes(me) fight the guard(also me) for the drummies. The football cheerleaders try to get in on it too, but we keep them out of the loop.

No, we have/had Drumline-Guard couples. Pretty normal, even within the rest of the band.

Well... our colorguard is pretty annoying/gross, so there has only been like, 1 as far as I know... but 1 guy was going out with a girl from a different colorguard.... But, in our drumline, if you're sane, you don't talk to the colorguard except the Liz's and a couple others. I suppose it would be normal, though. Makes sense to me.
