Guys... I need the time to sort out the kinks with the guild... or get some sort of idea of how to deal with the whole probably of lack of activity... It's just seeming like no one's been checking in here anymore.
So... I'm using the next three days to sort this out. Thus... the guild is pretty much closed from this point onward...
I'm really sorry, guys, but I don't know what other action to take.

Not that the answer-y people are bad exclaim I heart the answery people. And being more casual about the guild --less business-- might bring in a yonger hungry crowd. We need something like scouts and flasing banners in signatures. Overall, I feel like the guild has become more of a job than a pleasure. We're all in school, some of us have jobs and such. I think it's OK if the guild has ebbs and flows. That's a part of ministry. My message for you is to NO BE WEARY in WELL DOING. I love your heart. You'll see the fruit after while. Don't be discouraged, Asha.

Don't be discouraged, Asha. I've considered the whole aspect of the membership and it IS a concern... however... if they come hungry and no one's here to feed them, what'll happen then? Most of us mods are hardly ever here. Most of us are in college and half are double that with jobs and such and the lack of our presence here puts me between a rock and a hard place in knowing what to do. Will it be more motivation for us mods to actually BE here knowing that people are here to be fed, or are we just going to let them starve?

I think you raise some interesting questions (which makes me heart you a little more). After thinking about it a bit, I think that I would be more motivated to frequent the guild more if there were more people here seeking God. That is what kept me around the first time I came. That is what kept me in James' threads and all the other God threads in Gaia. It is an interesting thought though. But now that I think about it, those who we are mentoring will soon become teachers and mods while we are absent. That is how minstry works. Your fruit nourishes some hungry child. The seeds from the fruit are spit from his mouth into the ground of other hearts, they grow fruit and the cycle continues. It's true. That's where my heart is. I can't really step up and interpret for the rest of the group.

I'm hoping that the others have the same stand point as well.
