The Senior and Junior bands competed today and both got Gold awards! We get to have a chance to go to the Nationals but the cost is $100 per person. We're looking about $6000 in total.
We actually did it! =D I may be in Junior band but we were even better than some of the SENIOR bands at other schools! whee BHS's Senior band got Gold easily and the other bands who played after them totally sucked. xp Junior band actually pulled off and we got GOLD!!! After all those extra morning practices finally payed off! (And we have a two-week break from band rehearsals!) YEAH! GO BROOKFIELD!

awesome!! i have festival on the 5th of march for my school, but i'm hoping to get superior, and we have another in may and i hope to get gold!!
