I know it's a little late, but it took some time to write. (Plus, I kept forgetting... sweatdrop ) Enjoy.


Naruto opened the door to his apartment, dreading the day ahead. He had known what day today was since the night before. Valentine's Day. Naruto absolutely hated Valentine's Day...just for the simple fact that he couldn't get the one person he loved most to go out with him. Sasuke Uchiha.

Naruto sighed and walked out of his apartment, locking the door behind him. I just know I'm going to regret waking up today.

When Naruto exited the apartment complex, Hinata approached him and gave him chocolates, quickly running off afterwards. Hinata did that every year, so it didn't bother Naruto one bit. He actually enjoyed getting candy.

As Naruto walked further into the village, he could see all of the happy couples giving and receiving gifts...and it kind of depressed Naruto, just knowing that Sasuke would never do that for him, even if they were a couple. But after Naruto thought about it, he realized that as long as him and Sasuke were together, he wouldn't care if Sasuke gave him a gift or not...he just wanted to be happy.

"Hey, dobe." Sasuke said, approaching Naruto from behind.

Naruto turned around when he heard Sasuke's voice and felt even worse. "H-Hey Sasuke."

Sasuke sighed when he saw Naruto was down. "What's eatin' you?"

Naruto looked at the ground, not able to talk. He wanted to tell Sasuke that he loved him, he had wanted to for a long time but just didn't know how.

Sasuke grabbed Naruto's wrist and pretty much dragged him away from the center of the village and to a pond near the Forest of Death.

"Sasuke?" Naruto seemed confused, he didn't understand why Sasuke dragged him out here.

Sasuke faced Naruto when he was sure no one was around and kissed Naruto on the lips, causing Naruto's face to turn beat red. Naruto, though he had wanted this, pulled quickly away from Sasuke.

"Something wrong?" Sasuke asked, almost hurt.

Naruto's face was as red as it could get, he just didn't expect it. "Y-You could've w-warned me."

Sasuke smiled a little and hugged Naruto. "I'm sorry, I just can't hold back any longer."

Naruto hugged Sasuke back and smiled widely. "I didn't know that you felt the same..."

Sasuke pulled away from Naruto, his arms still around the other boy, and kissed him again, this time passionately. Naruto kissed him back, taking in the taste of his first love. Sasuke pushed Naruto against a nearby tree and started making out with him, each boy allowing the other to gain entry to his mouth.

When Sasuke finally pulled away, Naruto hugged him and nearly cried. Sasuke hugged him back, smiling genuinely for the first time since his clan was massacred.

Naruto felt tears running down his face and said, "I love you, Sasuke."

"I love you too, Naruto." Sasuke said happily.

The boys stayed there in each others arms for a few minutes, taking in the others body heat...something they had never thought they would ever feel.

...I guess today is a good day after all. Naruto thought, pulling away from Sasuke and taking his hand.

Sasuke grasped Naruto's hand, still smiling. It's actually a good day.

A happy Valentine's Day after all. The boys thought, walking back into the village still holding hands.
