In the early years of the worlds life there were those called "The Elementals"...
Those who could control one of the six elements of Water, Fire, Earth, Air, Light, and Dark. These Elementals ruled the world in diffrent areas.
The Light elementals took to the clouds, and ruled their kingdoms from above.
The Dark elementals perferred the caves and caverns of the earth. Some compare their kingdom to that of trolls, but it was much more magnificent.
The Water elementals went to the great Oceans and built their fortresses just below the surface, protected by glass domes that harbored whole populations.
The Earth elementals took up most of the eastern continents that were lush in forrest and fields.
The Fire elementals took the hottest portions of the world. Almost all of the equator and chain of volcanoes were theirs. They almost cut the planet in half with their territories. But they were not very strong as a nation, and allowed travelers to pass through.
The Wind elementals took to the mountains, high in the skies overlooking the water and earth elementals.
After many years, other beings began to emerge from the earth. Hybrids, vampires, werewolves, and humans who didn't understand.
There was an epic war! One that would shape the course of history. Alliances were made and many deaths took place. In the end the Elementals were wiped off the face of the earth, along with the hybrids and other such things. Which left only humans who were too closed of mind to understand the impact.

Now centuries later, the Elementalists have returned and have taken back their kingdoms. But things are different, and they are not satisfied with their land claims. Many need more resources, more land because they have too many people, others need the military strength. It's a battle of wit and working behind others backs. Who will claim the biggest prizes of all? Only time will tell.
