Can you point me to where you discussed the rarity of the card usage?
Cards are fairly common, more so in major trading areas than small isolated villages but they're still there
I want to understand how society's view a card wielder.
This is very varied, as a whole it's probably about neutral, and most people don't have a problem with them, but it's easy to become a criminal, especially when armed with super powers, some people or groups might be prejudice that all card users are criminals
Are there places where they teach those to become a cardomancer?
Yes, many of the cultures and subcultures in the world think of card powers as something holy, or a basic right, or an utter necessity; There are, as said at least once, many ways to gain card powers, most of them are just convoluted rituals and it's not entirely clear what aspect actually gives you the card.
Are there forbidden ways to use card power?
Obviously criminal actions are not welcomed by most people, but since cards all work differently there isn't much of anything to forbid
Do people see those who have certain suits differently than other suits?
I'm sure they do, though I don't have time to quantify those feelings for each and from each, Spades are probably seen as violent and see other's as weak.
Are cardomancers feared, endangered, ignored or praised. In other words are the card users considered elitists or plagues?
Not really; they might be feared and in some areas praised but card use is just another fact of every day life.
In other parts of the world are views of them different? How so?
Yes, as we've discussed the desert continent is a giant deadzone for all magic, including card powers, it's inhabitants probably don't even know about cards; The archipelagos are both fairly extreme places to live, card powers are practically a lifeline, on the jungle continent you can go just about anywhere and carve out a life pretty easily so cards are an enhancement. But in a smaller view there are small groups of people all over, each may have any number of views on the cards.
Are there those who are just plan ignorant, who perhaps preform cannibalistic rituals upon catching a card user?
Possibly, I hadn't really thought about it, but the farther into the jungle continent you go the more tribal what humans you'll meet are so there's a chance.
Do you have any guesstimation or rule of thumb as to how many card users there are in the local populous or Rinon?
I'd guess more than half, and it's a big, major city; I'd be very surprised to meet a trader who isn't a card user but the ships crews that work under him..., he'd want non-users just so he has an edge over them
Are there steps the city uses to control the population who has such powers above the norm?
For the most part the city is just self governing, most everyone is there for a reason and criminals or disrupters aren't welcome, there is a militia type group of residents that react to stop major fights, but they're mostly self trained.
Since I didn't get a yes or no on the suite issue would I be wrong to understand that all suit wielders are viewed the same?
Everybody has a past, it will effect how people view you more than the mere fact that you are a card user; and will define how people view you as a card user.
what kind of religion people follow in Rinon, or just the religion of the whole world in general. Do people believe in gods or anything? Or do they worship the jokers, aces, or something? there aren't any big religions and few unified ones, but regional stuff is a whole another matter.
