I love my parents. o_O They're seriously like, the best couple to ever raise children. They are the greatest. sweatdrop

The only thing is, I can't talk to them. Like my friend, she doesn't get along with her mom really at all (at least it doesn't seem like it) but she tells her everything. It's weird. My mom is great to me, and so is my dad, but I just feel like I can't tell them anything. That's probably because they're WAY WAY overprotective. If I told them most things, like who I talk to on the Internet and what kind of music I listen to, they wouldn't let me do those things anymore.
The good thing is they trust me, so they don't look into my life.

But really... they're pretty much perfect.
I feel so spoiled.

*covers eyes* My god. One would hope the insanity would just stay with one pair, but noooooooo... clearly, there is a parental logic in this that we're missing.

I understand.
D':
My mom nags a lot and she thinks that she has to do everything and that nobody gives two ******** about her. I understand what my mom had to put up with when she was younger and living with my grandmother (Her mother). My grandmother nags so- much. Its not even funny....when she stays at our house for like 6 months, we're already fed up of her and we want her out. I, out of my whole family always get picked on by her and she flips out on me for nothing and calls me stupid and a retard in Spanish; thinking that I don't understand what she is saying.

When my mom was 12-13 years old, she ran away, for a day or two, from my grandmother because she couldn't handle her anymore.
So when my mom nags at me and flips out, I'll get frustrated, but then I'll think about where she was brought up and how much crap she had to go through when she was still living in her mothers house and what she had to go threw when she came to Canada, poor and using an oven door as a table. SO, I try not to get mad at her...I know she doesn't mean to hurt any of us.
xD

I love my parents.
Sometimes, yes, they frustrate me.
But I would never give them up.

Oh wow, My mom and I are always having fights... But Me and my dad get along so so well. But today.... Well, my friend was over and we were eating and I have diabetes so I give myself shots, so I lift up my shirt to give myself a shot on my tummy and afterwards my mom is like "pull your shirt down". And my dad says "Are you getting extra fat there so you can do all your shots there?" And he keeps saying these things about me being fat! Which I'm not...or at least I don't consider myself fat... Well, my friend was there and I was really embarrassed. sad

So later that night, me and my mom are having one of our regular arguments while my dad is making dinner. My dad is making pasta, and I didn't want sauce on mine, so after me and my mom's fight, I go to my dad and I see the pasta doesn't have sauce on it yet, so I calmly, and cheerfully say, "Can I have mine separate, without sauce?" And my dad just blows up in my face, about how he already told me he wasn't putting sauce on it... I know it doesn't sound like a big deal... It's just he had always been on my side... While mom was the crazy one...

Every day makes me have more and more issues with my father.
I guess he's just trying to talk to me, but sometimes he just gets really aggravating to be around.
