Anybody remember those "Greatest Hits" games for the PS2? Well, the PS3 is getting some re-releases in Japan now, with games under the label of "Playstation 3 the Best". All the games are cheaper by about half the price of a normal PS3 game (they're ¥3,800) and will be released in Japan on March 19. Resistance: Fall of ManNinja Gaiden SigmaMobile Suit Gundam: Target In SightFolksSoulRidge Racer 7And there's also the EA Best Hits: Need For Speed: CarbonThe PS3 isn't region-coded and most of the games come with the English voice-track, so even if you can't read Japanese, if you don't yet have any of these games but want them/have been considering them, now would be a good time to pick them up! =D

I don't like the boxart... Looks really ugly, though not as bad at the 360's platinum hits collection ascetically though.
Tis a good find though, we should be getting these stateside soon.

Tis a good find though, we should be getting these stateside soon. Agreed. I think the PS best cases are like what the PH cases for the 360 look like. But yeah HATE those case designs.

*thirds the hate against the box art* It's good that they're half the price...but I don't think the yellow strip instead of the black fits very well confused Though, not very many of Sony's products when it comes to PS look very well without at least a little black sweatdrop

Haha, sadly, I completely agree about the dislike towards the boxart for these things. Thankfully, we still get the orginal boxart, just a scaled down version of them, really.
But you have to remember! Despite the unimpressive boxart, people are going to be buying these editions for the half price. When that is included, the ugly boxart isn't so bad, really. :)
I'm actually planning on getting Sigma like this. I've been eyeing the game for a while, and getting it half price and with the Japanese track would be all the bonus I need to be convinced.
Anyone else planning on buying any of these?

Own the CE of Sigma. And saw Folklore I THINK either Target or Circuit City $39.99.

I dont think the boxes look that bad, they could be better but hey, its not bad in the long run.
