The moon is full

I hear the wind
As it whips about.
I walk down the street,
Silent and deadly.
I am on the hunt.
Now I've found my prey
And I move in to make the kill.
I grab the person of whom to bite
And I realize it's you.
I cannot kill you,
For you are my love.
I will not taste your beautiful blood.
You realize it's me and draw me close.
I am too busy to even notice.
I could have killed you,
With these sharp, deadly fangs.
You wouldn't have known your fate.
You have no clue,
You're oblivious.
I wake with a start,
It was all just a dream.
Thank the Spirit,
But it could really happen.
With those deadly fangs
You could die.
