Oh look a new post. Guild needs more posts. *tap tap*.
I try not to. Most of the time I like to judge by a user's post.
Of course,.... on a site like Gaia a username is a very important thing.
It's an indicator of a single person existing in the forum sea.
It's what makes you unique to everyone else, or arguably not as unique as others. talk2hand
Some make you laugh, some will offend you and some will endear you enough to contact the user personally. wink
I'm not trying to turn this into a discussion...
But I would like to know your thoughts!
-Is there a seemingly common ideal amongst user names?
-What kind of usernames do you sniff at?
-Do you just approach someone because of their username regardless of -the content of their posts/profiles?
-Is it unique to have a nickname consisting of one word?

I usually wont ever talk to someone with a name like xXxXxXx I rok 101010292019 XxXxXxxXXXXx
But I dont usually go out of my way to PM someone based on their username, or for that matter their post.

I dont judge people by their usernames. When i try to reach out to someone rather it be in pms is just if i see something in their profile that they have similarities that i have. I dont judge people by their usernames because i think that everyone is unique and different. I do like to check their profile out before accepting them as a friend but i dont like to judge someone based on their username because in order to really get to know someone takes time but i reach out to those that i see that have common interests with me as well

I don't even mind usernames, I usually just go up to people and try to start a conversation about randomness and such. It's just a time for me to see what the buzz is currently about.

ummm...I don't judge people by their user names and sometimes I don't even judge them by post..it is because I don't really know them...maybe they're post is harsh but they're really nice in person...you know what I mean...
And also I don't want to be judged....(don't do to others what you don't want to be done to you....sort of like that)

I give them an initial judgement, they deserve it for chosing few words among many, but I then give them a chance, to show who they are wink

naaaaa i dont really like judging people by their username.
sometimes i laugh...
i know alot of people judge me by my username but i dont really care. I like my username.
