Queen of the Radii I agree with rockerpixie. As I said earlier, atheism is not a lack of religion. Yes, it is.

slam-skull Queen of the Radii I agree with rockerpixie. As I said earlier, atheism is not a lack of religion. Yes, it is. Every definition I've read of atheism has said it is a disbelief in a god or gods, irrespective of other possible religious beliefs. Can you give me a source which states otherwise?

Your stepping into something athiests fight over a lot. Half say it is lack of gods, the others lack of religion. Just look at ED.

Yeah, I tend to avoid the atheism/religion threads in the ED.

rockerpixie I was raised Catholic, but we're [my family] not very religious. I believe in God, but I don't believe in the church [man]. I believe in souls, heaven, & hell... the idea of reincarnation is lovely too.
I don't care if you believe in God, Allah, Vishnu, Rasta, or a plate of spaghetti. As long as you're a good person [or try to be one] that's what counts. Think about it, all the major religions in the world are all sending out the same message... it's just the tiny details that differ.
Just don't get me started on Evangelicals... please. I don't wish to offend anyone. I wish I could high five you, I am an Agnostic, I am searching for what to believe...by researching every religion then either deciding which one is right or none at all but you know Pagan is getting to seem interesting at least....maybe i should research that one 1st........

Baptist. A real one, not one of those hyper preachy "You're gonna fry!" people, but an honest Christian who's tired of fake Christians getting it wrong and making the rest of us look bad. (Just a little bitter.)
